  1. We go Wednesday. I'm FAIRLY (!) confident we'll announce Cifuentes & Calm today or tomorrow, in time for them to jet off with the squad.
  2. They fly off on Wednesday. I guess the holdup has been to tie up (literally?!) Calm (and any other of MC's support team) before flying out. Obviously a few photos/videos of everyone at Seagrave.
  3. The squad jet off to Austria on Wednesday, not tomorrow as originally planned. I guess that's because they want to finalise an agreement for Calm and announce MC and him, together. So tomorrow, or Tuesday. They then can head off for the Training Camp with the squad.
  4. Of course, the delay in an announcement, is more likely due to us still finalising a deal with QPR for Calm. I'm sure MC would have been done and dusted at the beginning of the week, but we might still have been haggling for his Assistant. Hopefully, that is pretty much sorted now and there'll be a joint announcement this weekend, before jetting off on the Training Camp.
  5. https://www.glasgowworld.com/sport/football/rangers/leicester-city-star-rangers-transfer-tease-social-media-next-step-5219378. Sounds like an imminent departure, for Rangers.
  6. Paddy Power have just suspended betting on the City Manager (they were offering 4/9 at the end). No one will take your money now - so, obviously bookies think it's sorted.
  7. Paddy Power odds. They're obviously still taking bets.
  8. No, just checked, Skybet have still got the betting page open online, but are not actually taking bets. In fact the odds they show are frozen from a week ago - when Dyche was evens favourite!
  9. https://www.londonworld.com/sport/football/qpr/qpr-negotiating-leicester-city-cifuentes-5215978 We're in discussions with QPR, to get Xavi Calm in, as Cifuentes' Assistant. So sounds like 'the Management team' could be on the horizon.
  10. All betting on the City Manager is now suspended. The bookies are obviously confident it will be Cifuentes.
  11. And just 2 for Wilder! Our Board have really got their finger on the pulse of Leicester City, haven't they?!
  12. Good plan, ticks all the boxes for me. And to get Powell back is the icing on the cake - a legend. Great support for Kingy now - and of course they know each other well.
  13. Yep, great idea. Ticks all the boxes for me.
  14. He probably hasn't been told we're no longer sponsored by Walkers Crisps. Probably thought Top, Rudkin and the Senior Managers would appreciate the gesture!
  15. All the Rohl 'chat' and crisp payment stuff is irrelevant - he was at Trowell Services - and the important question then, is, SOUTHBOUND? If so, he's probably on his way to Leicestershire today!!
  16. Ah, sorry, my bad, I didn't pick up on that, must have been looking at an old update. There is hope then!
  17. What's even more worrying, is that Leipzig and Wolfsburg are chasing the same guy (Neestrup), as their main target. Obviously, one of them is likely to be severely disappointed. Rohl on their 'reserve list'?!
  18. https://www.getfootballnewsgermany.com/2025/both-rb-leipzig-and-wolfsburg-seek-to-install-jacob-neestrup-as-next-head-coach/#:~:text=German Football News-,Both RB Leipzig and Wolfsburg seek to,Neestrup as next head coach&text=Kicker reports that two Bundesliga, choice” candidate for both clubs. Leipzig & Wolfsburg still looking for a new Head Coach! And Dortmund have only got a temporary Head Coach at the moment, so could be still in the market. Of course, Leipzig is Rohl's old club!
  19. https://saintsmarching.com/saints-fans-laugh-after-hearing-leicester-city-s-manager-decision Says it all, really. If we go for Dyche, we'll be the laughing stock of Southampton - and most other - fans!
  20. Martin is fourth favourite at 8/1 - but they're giving him that price as the current Manager of Rangers! In other words, to get the boot there and then, come to us!
  21. With all the talk of Rohl POSSIBLY being lined up (thanks, FoxinNotts), shouldn't this thread be up amongst the current stuff? It's been nearly a week since anyone has posted on it. It does give the history of our chat about him. It's interesting that he was first linked (by the Yorkshire Post), as long ago as 1 May.
  22. Given what's pointed out above, I think it fair to say that any NORMAL Manager wouldn't think of coming to a 'basket case club' like us at the moment, but Dyche is a bit of a one off and will see it as a great challenge! Coupled with the fact, that his mate, Rudkin, will sort out a nice financial package for him and his guys, to make it worthwhile. To probably quote him - "LCFC, here I come!".
  23. Of course, that situation could be the 'straw which breaks Dyche's back'!! In other words, if he's got no money to spend on buying (or bringing) in experienced players (which, is always his preference) and has to rely on relatively inexperienced younger players, he might not find us attractive enough to come. Add to that, a probable significant points deduction and existing players, used to playing in a tactical formation he doesn't like, we can't exactly be his 'cup of tea'!! Perhaps I'm clutching at straws here, but we really can't be high up on a list of clubs, he'd ideally want to come to.
  24. That's not the end of June (and therefore, in this financial year) - so, IF (big if!) you're right, agreement must have been reached with RvN - one way or the other. In other words, he's either being paid off (and POSSIBLY they're going to announce a new Manager), or he's being kept!
  25. That's a good point. If he does go to Brighton, I think that's a big indicator of RvN being on his way.
