Outfox the Fox

And if we do sign a(nother) CB, it will be a left footed one.

Of course, Boehly used to work for (and is still connected to) Citbank, who are handling our sale.

Investors, yes, but nothing about Multi-millionaires / Billionaires?

If that's true, great, but I haven't seen any other posts saying Indian Multi-millionaires / Billionaires are interested.

And:- Tuesday 15 September - Portugal ? - Saudi Arabia

There's always Greece or Portugal, as well. 15 September close for them.

And the Portugese transfer window doesn't close until 15 September - the same date as Greece.

Ah, sorry, my bad - I forgot we can't be, "the Championship side"!

If we're after Latibeaudiere AND O'Hora (which we could be), it must mean we're confident of selling at least two of Faes, Okoli and Souttar.

https://neillal.com/ He's a Buddhist, so with Top & Russell Martin, that will be a big plus!

No, we've got our 3 keepers now. Just replacement(s) for Souttar (and Faes and/or Okoli). Possibly a holding midfielder in for Page. I guess Skipp will be staying now.

Howell does bring one big advantage to the team - he's a left footed right winger (ie the Fatawu replacement). There are no other natural left footers in the squad, even Burns and Alves who play right wing, are right footed.

https://www.leicestermercury.co.uk/sport/football/transfer-news/leicester-city-transfer-nelson-defender-11098766 Interesting that Russell talks about the need to get a left footed Central defender in, now Nelson is out - of course Ben is a right footed player. I would guess Nelson's injury is a red herring, the plan was always to get a left sided Centre Back in.

Rangers are closing in on a winger from PSV, so it looks like Mavi won't be going to them.

Not ANOTHER midfielder! Good, though he might be (but he didn't do much at Wednesday last season). Mubama is a much better fit - a strong, left footed, central striker, with a decent scoring record with Stoke & England U21's.

And Stoke spent £10m on Galbraith, so even less money available.

Stoke were one of the Club's after Souttar - they have less money to get him now (at the price we want) - its a bit more likely he'll stay!

Stoke are spending £3.5m on Ipswich right back, Harry Clarke. So no money for any of our people!

The fact that he played more minutes in the game as an attacking midfielder (and was only rotating with BDR up front), says to me that he hasn't been bought as a striker (which has been implied by many, on here and in the media). I'm hopeful this is true and Keillor-Dunn IS coming in soon.

Cullen can play as a left footed winger, well, how about this, could he actually (!) play as a LEFT winger (I know, radical, hey!)? In other words, could he be a replacement for a departing Mavididi?! Even if not playing as a winger, but as a central striker, I think he could work, playing in a (similar style) 'two up front' with Chaplin. I agree, his signing does threaten a (potentially wonderful) midfield of Braybrooke, Alves & Page.

You point out that Cullen can play as a left footed winger, well, how about this, could he actually (!) play as a LEFT winger (I know, radical, hey!)? In other words, could he be a replacement for a departing Mavididi?!

Well, of course, City Football Group are Abu Dhabi owned ..... and where did our Sporting Director work previously?! I can't see CFG looking at us, but perhaps one of their 'spin off' operations?
