He'll demand huge wages but hes a very good coach. I'd go for him if we get promoted.
-
He shouldn't be surpassed by a 40 year old who just started coaching. Or Arteta. Or Amorim.
-
Even if we get promoted and we crawl over the line, who wants to give him another chance next season?
-
I was comparing all our academy boys in the last decade. KDH sits between Schlupp and Hanza
-
Tell me KDH is better than Chilwell and Barnes. Please do. I accept he's a lot better than Hamza though.
-
Is KDH better than Chilwell and Barnes?
-
Agree he's miles above Hamza. I take that back. I don't particularly rate Schlupp hut he's had a long Premier League career. I'm not sure KDH will have that.

Football is a very strange industry and culture in that experience means very little. Take for example Xabi Alonso who's a rookie and David Moyes who's been managing since 1998. One is vastly superior to the other. You won't see that in any other walk of life. Imagine a junior doctor outperforming a doctor with 25 years experience. Or engineer, University professor, lawyer, judge etc. When you think about its quite embarrassing to be in an industry for so long only to be surpassed so easily by novice. This is also why I still support Enzo and Kompany, even though they're struggling badly.

On a scale of academy products in the last decade he sits just above Hamza and just below Schlupp. Talent wise.
-
Which gaffer is he on about ? He was signed by Levein and played between 2005-2009. And yeah I don't remember him getting a 7 week ban.
-
Absolute garbage footballer. I genuinely thought dropping down to the Championship would give him a new lease of life and he'd show he's above this level but he's being outscored by a 37 year old veteran on his last legs. Zero technique tap in merchant.
-
He's definitely better than Daka though.
-
It's 2024 and people still want this guy in the team. ****ing hell.
-
Young coaches are a lottery. You could get Alonso or you could get Enzo. I'm always in favour of getting young coaches. David Moyes has managed over 1000 games and Xabi Alonso has been managing for 5 minutes, yet Alonso already has a bigger coaching legacy.

We're the one who threw away a double digit lead. So we are luckier in that it's still in our hands.
-
We really are a pathetic team aren't we
-
-
We are ****ing jammy prices

Leeds fans or Newcastle fans would be hounding out their managers or owners. But our fan base has a small club mentality and will accept anything.
-
Scraped by Birmingham. Lost to Plymouth and Millwall. 3 relegation candidates and we played like pricks.
-
I'll just say this. It's his first job. Arteta was beyond underwhelming in his first 2 years at Arsenal but look at him now. Enzo could be learning from his ways and become even better. Only problem is a bad season for us is failing to get promoted or getting relegated from the PL. A bad season for Arsenal is finishing 8th. They won't suffer as much as we would. We're not Arsenal or Chelsea or Manchester United who can afford to hire bad coaches after bad coaches and still recover.

It's been nearly 10 years. They should let it go.

Plymouth away. Rob Kelly memories. Ah yes.
