Tbf I was half joking. But I will say the Championship is full of wannabe big clubs who did well 70 years ago and are still clinging on to that. I'm glad teams like Brighton and Brentford are in the Premier League rather than Sunderland and Sheffield Wednesday.

Southampton and Leeds need to get promoted with us. We all make the Premier League so much more attractive. As Mourinho said, it's football heritage.

How are Coventry almost in the play offs. 3 or 4 wins on the bounce will take you from 16th to 6th in this god forsaken league.

It's a good thing Southampton started slowly, and we played them when we did.

Just went back and looked. Absolute dire. 5 straight defeats to Newcastle, Liverpool, Fulham, Newcastle again & Notts Forest. We then draw to Brighton and lose to Aston Villa. Our only real win post Christmas was the 4-1 against Spurs. We had 1 victory in 4 months. The second win came in late April against Wolves. Absolute dereliction of duties by the club. Quite disgraceful that he stayed in the job for that long.

It's just a matter of time before Southampton get second, and stay there.

Southampton are a serious team. They'll leapfrog Ipswich.

My birthday is on 2 March. Promotion will be secured by then at this rate.

I agree. The last 18 months with Rodgers were ****ing dire. Utter crap. But the first 2.5 years we played sensational football and won a trophy. Lest we forget we used to be this good.

He's good now but he definitely was a car crash last season. Also. I'm not totally convinced he's good enough to be a solid PL defender. He looked like a headless chicken at times last season. Started great for us but post World Cup was difficult to watch him.

People are tired of us.

The first part of this decade was great. We had a small dip. Let's hope the second sort of the decade is more successful.

I'm hard left leaning but I understand why people dislike Lineker politically. But let this be another reason legends and people's hereos shouldn't go hard in on politics. Le Tissier is Southampton greatest of all time but I personally know several Saints fans who are completely turned off by him now and can't stand him. I hope we never get ro hear about Jamie Vardy's political opinions, I don't wanna start hating the guy.

Palace have spent 10+ consecutive years in the Premier League and if they got relegated nobody down here would see them as a big club. Because we've actually achieved something and have had world class players, we're seen in a different light. Younger fans of Championship clubs perceive us a big deal. A 22 year old Birmingham City fan only know us as a top PL club.

We all thought we'd batter Sheffield Wednesday but look how rest turned out. We'll probably win but it'll be a 1-0 or 2-1 type of game.

It's funny because we've said that a few times this season. Rotherham, Preston, Cardiff etc. The truth is this division is full of terrible teams.
