I refuse to buy the new shirt for £63. The pricing will only change when people stop buying them which will not be anytime soon.

Just to be clear, I LOVE belting out a classic song but there are plenty of belters (Bertie Mee; When You're Smiling; Molly Maline; etc) that do not involve violence (which I will not join in with on principal and I dare say that I would not be aline in this stance). I did enjoy hearing 'Bring on the Sunderland...' on Saturday. p.s. no shade intended towards UFS in my posts - I love what you guys are doing!
-
It was point 2 that I meant (not point 3).
-
Which I guess takes me back yo point 1.
-
I know that point 3 will be devisive but do you disagree with any of the other points?
-
Because one is about kicking someone's f**cking head in and the other is about killing people with a shotgun. Glorifying football violence should not be part of any fan groups mission. This goes beyond football and history and is something that certainly divides the fan base.
-
I have no problem with classic chants - it is only the songs based around violence that belong in the dark ages.
-
I used to stand in the 'crazy corner' at Filbert Street and love to sing. A couple of points for UFS to consider: 1. Publish an up to date song book both online and put them in the seats around the singing section before the next game. The reason that some fans to nit join in with the singing is that they simply do not know the words. 2. Cut out the songs to do with violence (you'll get your f**king head kicked in...; tip toe through the Trent End; etc). These songs belong firmly in the past. 3. Songs for EVERY player (Evans, Fofana, Justin are notable players without a song) and sing them more often. 4. There should be a set minute in every match where we belt out 'Vichai had a dream' for a solid minute.

Lack of any signing? We knew that we needed to reduce the wage bill before we could bring anyone in and he only left 2 hours ago! SMH

Perez is a decent squad player who will see plenty of minutes next season with the (re-)introduction if 5 subs. One part of his game that often gets overlooked is his intelligent positioning on the pitch. He occupies the space that forces the full-back to come further inside then they would like. This either creates space for our marauding full-backs to run into or nullifies the opponent's winger/wide-midfielder as an attacking threat.

I went Viduka, Cahill and Son

One of the issues here is bringing everyone back for defensive set pieces means that when we do clear the ball possession is simply surrendered.
-
In some instances, yes. If you kick it out of play for a throw-in near the halfway line then both teams will reset their shape and a new phase of play begins with them in possession. If you make a poor clearance to one of their players who is 35 yards out then they will have possession higher up the pitch and their aerial threat (i.e. centre backs) will still be in our area.

Who's your current favourite City player?

Ask me again when Vardy retires/leaves - until then this is an easy question. -

Does anyone know if we can park at the King Power tomorrow? I was sent to 3 different members of staff in the club shop today and none of them knew! -
Is it Wellens?

Season ratings: Rodgers- 7 A 9 for the first 15 games followed by a 5 for the rest of the season Kasper- 8 Some key saves that kept us in games Ward- 7 Great back-up keeper to have Chilwell- 7 Has played ok without quite living up to the hype Justin-7 Has proved to be adequate back-up for either full-back Soyuncu-8 A great breakthrough season for the big Turk Evans-9 Player of the season for me - I truly believe that he should be in the Premier League team of the year (but he won't be!) Ricardo-9 The second best right-back in the league Morgan-6 Dependable when called upon but has lost a yard of pace that he never had Fuchs-7 Always reliable when called upon but from next season I'd be playing Thomas if Chilwell is unavailable Bennett -5 He was bought in as back-up so that Benkovic could go out on loan but failed to impress Thomas-7 I thought that he looked really good in the games that he played at the end of the season - definitely give him game time in the cups next season Gray-6 A good squad player who made some decent impact sub appearances this year Ndidi-9 So consistent in the middle of the park Tielemans-7 When he is on it he is unplayable but he has been below average more often than not this year Maddison-8 A great start to the campaign but a very average second-half to the season Hamza-6 Always provides energy and is a decent enough squad player Albrighton-6 The system that we play does not play to his strengths but he is always reliable when called upon Mendy-6 Has shown his class in a couple of games - a good squad player but not worth the wages for the amount of minutes that he will play Praet-7 Was one of the players who played well when the teams form started to dip Vardy-9 Another amazing season from my favourite ever player - how many more years can he keep this up though? Itchy-8 His goals per minute this season is very good and his link-up play has improved - should get more game time next season to assess if he can fill the void if/when Vardy's age starts to catch-up with him Perez-7 I had high hopes for Perez which he has not quite lived up to - some good performances punctuated an otherwise average season Barnes-7 I love how direct he is but he needs to convert more of the chances that fall to him

2020/2021 season predictions

League: 8th Europa League: Semi-final FA Cup: 4th round League Cup: Quarter-final -
Am I the only one who doesn't want to go back to games under these circumstances? I've been a season ticket holder for 18 years and I very rarely miss a home game (generally less than 1 per season). But football is going to be very different when we first go back. I'm working on the following assumptions: Attendance restricted to ~25% No away fans No gathering in concourses Socially distanced seating No guarantee that you will get tickets to the same games as your friends/family No singing/shouting (no-one has mentioned this yet but both of these are known to increase the spread of droplets in a scary manner) All of these points combined would make the experience of attending a game almost worthless for me. If games continue to be broadcast then I'd rather watch the game with my friends over a couple of beers.

Will fans be allowed down the City next season?
ThorpeAstleyFox replied to Spudulike's topic in Leicester City Forum
Don't forget that shouting and singing both increase the distribution of droplets. I appreciate that the game itself is outdoors but I cannot imagine many places better for transmitting the virus (probably only an indoor rock concert). Then there is the question of how many would want to go if they have to sit on their own; not sing/shout; not go with their normal friendship group/family; etc. -
The fantastic position that he put us in.
-
We're pretty much guaranteed European football - just not Champions League.
-
What are you guys on? What would you have been happy with at the start of the season? If you'd offered me European football then I would have bitten your hand off.

I believe that half-time subs do not count towards the limit.
