The problem I have is, this game all started to go wrong when we got desperate. Exactly what most posters in this thread would have us do in this game. Quick, quick, commit, commit. We were actually playing some decent football up to that point, but Millwall were putting in a monumental defensive effort and an all round good (be it shithousing) performance. Is it possible that sometimes the opposition might play well? I'll say it again. This went wrong because we became impatient. This went wrong the moment we started doing what most of our fans wanted from the first whistle. Birmingham second half is the blueprint. You probe. You build pressure. What you don't do is commit everyone forward and present the opposition with the only possible way for them to score. Moments before their goal they had a free man down our right who they should have found.
-
They're counter attacking us because we're becoming desperate and committing too many men forward. But you'll still see people on here contriving to remember ocassions that Vesty and Faes passed it between themselves in our own half.
-
When teams come and park the bus against us and the players tasked with unpicking that lock are N'didi and KDH, that's always going to happen. This game was absolutely set up for a solid defensive counter attacking performance by Millwall. We had to score early and wait for them to get desperate or nick one late. This was never going to be vintage. Not saying we've been amazing but I'm not really sure what we could have done about it with the players at our disposal. Saw this coming a mile off.

Yes, the shite team that are shithousing us.
-
Playing into their hands now, getting desperate. Allowing the game to become stretched. We need to get somebody on the ball in the middle. N'didi and KDH are runners, not footballers, and it remains our major issue.
-
No, you hate playing shite teams in the Championship.
-
Don't tell this to Fatawu and N'didi.
-
Goal comes from Faes losing the ball in their half. Getting desperate too early.
-
Yes because teams are going to park the bus against a newly promoted Leicester aren't they? Going away from home to any half capable organised unit with no interest in attacking is difficult whether they're in the Premier League or Championship.

It's half time

Millwall have conceded 1 goal in their last 3 home games. They're fighting for their lives. If you're frustrated it's because you (wrongly) expected this to be a walk in the park. Was always going to be tough. Was always going to be one of those frustrating games. If you look past your own rage you'd probably notice we've played relatively well there. Some nice first touch passing and flicks, some good through balls. Unfortunately the final ball and touch hasn't been right when we've had chances. Of all games, this wasn't one to expect entertainment from. Reckon we'll nick a winner.

Uncharacteristically given away by KDH, apparently

Made some okay points but this isn't co-commentary. There's no theatre or drama. Coming across very amateur from a production standpoint. It's almost the total opposite of Alan Smith, who is an absolute moron and offers no insight of value, but just understands the tone and pitch required for live football.

Wish these commentators would calm down

I've somehow got it up and running but couldn't tell you how or what channel it's on. It's almost impressive how difficult Sky Stream is to use. It's like they've gone out of their way to make it shit.

I think 96 will be the magic number. 8 points from 6 games.
-
You don't rate the players we have, but you're critical of the manager that has us top of the league? I think you've outed yourself as somebody who just loves a moan with that comment, tbh.
-
Last 20 games (i.e. second half of season), we're 2nd in the form table. It's a drop off from the first 20, but awful? Do we think we might be being a tad dramatic?
-
They're fighting for their lives, playing pragmatic football under Harris. They've conceded 1 goal in 3 home games since he took over. I'd be very surprised if this was a thrashing. 0-1 and get the hell out of there, thank you please.

Klopp saying he wanted his players to calm down in his post match comments. What a boring manager 😴
-
I think he gave up reasoning with morons, which is a shame, as the morons appear to have unrelenting staying power.
-
This is the most bizarre logic I've seen on here, and that's saying something. So you're telling me the plan wasn't to lose the ball and concede a goal? No fvkcing shit.

We literally always do it. Your username is irony, isn't it? Please tell me it's irony.
