  1. Yep, Vardy's lack of goals is very much related to a lack of service. In many ways good old route one is probably our best bet for scoring as things happen.
  2. Form an orderly queue.
  3. Could this be the first Acca that a bookie will only give you odds-on?
  4. It was the same for me. I would spiral into ridiculous pits of worrying about ridiculous things and self-pity that I actually knew were ridiculous and Sertraline essentially stopped all that nonsense so I could function normally.
  5. Have a sympathy rep for the effort.
  6. Alright Franz, calm down.
  7. Red Sea Pedestrian!
  8. "Oh, that's nice, cos they never get anything!"
  9. America make a greater show of it. In God We Trust is on the American arms and Trump opened his first cabinet meeting with prayer. Certainly the Russian Orthodox Church have a lot of leverage in Russian politics.
  10. Trump is essentially bullying Ukraine into handing over it's mineral reserves. For a country that considers itself "Christian" it needs to have a good hard look at the parable of the Good Samaritan. They're practically the opposite.
  11. I used to occasionally help a friend clean both those pubs. I expect some of the blood and spilt beer was yours?
  12. I sometimes find switching things within things you like to do works. For instance, I like video games, movies and music. I enjoy games often with dark themes (The Last of Us or Horizon Zero game for example) and movies (e.g. Alien, Blade Runner, film noirs) and music such as The Cure, Joy Division or other dark musics. So I'll decide to play something light and less intense (Stardew Valley or Spyro), watch some comedies and lighter music (though this doesn't necessarily mean pop - maybe some Sports Team or SFA ) Oh and avoid watching the news in depth. It works for me.
  13. Good advice, succinctly given.
  14. Article should probably add, "following a sternly worded phone call from JD Vance to Christopher Luxon..."
  15. Indeed, and we shouldn't have reached this point. What does the Mergers and Monopolies Commission actually do?
  16. So we're all safe, hurrah!
  17. It's a tiny sacrifice. The world would be a much better place without Amazon. There's a place for online stores, but the utter reliance on them (often because the likes of Amazon have steamrollered the little guys) is killing the economy. So much money channeled towards so few people.
  18. It not like anyone from Serbia ever caused much trouble in the world.
  19. Super, super Steveeee Super, super Steveeee Super, super Steveeee Super Stevie Hoooowaaaard! But let's not forget, the song was Claridge's first
  20. He briefly stabilised an awful Man Utd (admittedly, with a lot of help from us ) and did a decent job at PSV. With the right players, he can probably be a decent manager. Unfortunately, we need a great manager, the kind who can get some kind of cohesive teamwork and performance out of, at best, average players.
  21. Jack Vettriano aged 73. Always assumed he was older. Never liked his work (sentimental images of the upper middle classes (said the guy who really likes most Pre-Raphaelite art )), but undoubtedly one of the most recognisable modern artists.
  22. Or as Trump would say, 'to invade Russia'.
  23. Love Welsh cakes.
  24. Should I talk Nick into playing @WarehamFox
  25. I've more interest in this than any of LCFC's remaining fixtures.
