  1. He certainly did something awful in a previous life.
  2. Are there any pubs offering a free pint every time we score this Saturday?
  3. I don't believe their cooperation is needed at all. In World v USA, USA loses and USA is too stupid to realise that. Unfortunately, Putin has his vassal king installed, so at least another major world power is happy with the status quo.
  4. Unfortunately, cancelling test matches seems redundant.
  5. Sounds like a win!
  6. I fear that would be the hardest. Whilst writing that I realised Microsoft, Apple and Google, all US. Bang goes 98% of your computing platforms. I'm thinking Linux too.
  7. If America wants to be isolationist, let them. They hit your country with 25% tariffs, hit them with 50% tariffs and engage "privateer" smugglers. Ban Hollywood movies and US TV and music... No great loss . Ban them from the Olympics and FIFA World Cup... I'm sure Mexico and Canada could cope just fine. Boycott the US tennis Open and 3 of the Golf Majors (whilst banning Americans from The Open and Wimbledon). Get rid of Macdonald's and KFC, swap your Xbox for a Nintendo or PlayStation. #WDNA We don't need America (certainly not anywhere near as much as they think.)
  8. Seems like a blessing in disguise, but it might take some time to come to terms. Hope your parents are understanding. Take care mate.
  9. Yeah. I think you could film parts of any city in the world and make it seem, depending on your intention, a blissful paradise or the cesspit of humanity.
  10. The Ouse flows West-East, the banks are north or south.
  11. Never lied once on a CV. I am not given to lying, ever. Just cos you're some jaded someone could carve a Buddha out of you doesn't mean there are some honest people in the world. What benefit is there in claiming to be able to do something you can't? *Puts soapbox back in emergency soapbox storage*
  12. https://www.bbc.com/news/articles/czdl6594835o Well done Mr Asylum Seeker, you've just strengthened AfD's election campaign.
  13. I tried leaving my passport with the hotel, but Kings Lynn Premier Inn didn't want to know.
  14. Glad it's not too bad. You realise they'll only let you out when you accept we are going to be relegated.
  15. What a nonce. How to remove the joy from your dram.
  16. As someone who increasingly delivers all kinds of mundane parcels to people, I swear there are people who never leave their houses. Honestly, there are people who buy stuff online that would cost less than the postage if bought from the shop down the road.
  17. Spelt Kay wrong? I guess you'd got your head in the clouds.
  18. Nobody ever said this. At least, not on Star Trek
  19. He injured it on Neil Lennon's face
  20. Couple win refund after buying £32m moth-infested London mansion https://www.theguardian.com/uk-news/2025/feb/10/couple-win-refund-after-buying-moth-infested-london-mansion When you think about renters living in mouldy, damp houses that can't get their landlords to do anything. Then you get billionaires who, instead of getting in a pest control company for what would be pocket change, get a £32m refund and no doubt paid lawyers £1000s.
  21. What... the curtains? Eh, @Parafox?
  22. Unfortunately, and I've diligently looked into this, Australia has no jurisdiction in Kettering, despite the 1925 Barton Seagrave Vegemite Riots.
  23. Sadly, those people have huge governmental influence, in all countries.
  24. You leave my ears out of it!
  25. Israel and Palestine are pretty much as bad as each other. No one comes out smelling of rose.
