  1. The health conscious nature of students now is a fair point – I'm not sure what the latter has to do with anything, though. The market isn't really dominated by "local breweries in "old man's pubs,"" I doubt there are swathes of students who want to go out but simply can't because they struggle to find a Madri in a "modern" pub/bar.
  2. I bloody love it man. I'm about ten times more productive when the weather gets shite and dark.
  3. Coors Light in Walkabout on Granby St about 2008 that made me feel like I was being inflated and about to throw up AOTS. Hadn't had that sensation before and haven't had it since, simply revolting
  4. London job for me but all three of these will be class
  5. Aha I wasn't saying you were brother, just a joke mert
  6. I'm 12stone with hair and it doesn't bother me, I'm the bravest
  7. Bradford is decent; I'd argue better than Leicester in terms of quality gaffs but that might just be because I'm so familiar with Leicester. -------------- I also don't really think Leicester is helped by having one massive brewery in Everards whose pubs by and large have the same offering, save a few (Black Horse in Aylestone as an example). Go the Old Horse, Marquis, Globe, Western, Black Horse (B Gate) and the beers will barely vary. All perfectly decent enough pubs but there's nothing enticing a crawl out of me there. On the reverse of that, go to any Castle Rock pub in Notts and they've got bloody loads of stuff sat alongside their own beers.
  8. Southampton is genuinely the dullest place I've ever been to. It's not a shithole or anything, it's just so relentlessly ****ing bland. Milton Keynes-on-Sea
  9. Nice not to have to think about that jabroni for a little bit
  10. I did the same Google and was very surprised by Collymore and Allen. Thought they would both have a League Cup or something kicking about
  11. Yeah it's just recently had a slight lick of paint mate going over where it was painted / had signage previously, I don't think there are any further plans. Still looks okay imo, they've not just slung some cheapo signage up or owt
  12. One for the "makes you think" merchants
  13. Yeah no issues with EvRi for me recently either, just seems like a pretty standard delivery service with plenty of pick up points, decent tracking and options for if you need redelivery now. Although tbh I never really had much issue with them before. Yodel used to be the ****ing pits I know that, you wouldn't order a Faberge egg if you knew them tinmen were delivering it
  14. Only listened to their football ones so far, Wenger v Ferguson and the Rooney ones - they were decent enough. Elis recommended the book by Jonathan Northcroft on the Socially Distant Sports Bar recently so I'd back it to be well researched too
  15. Bohemian Rhapsody. Gerrit binned
  16. This move is still loaded with individual bits of magic and the whole team manages to get involved, not sure what the guy is trying to moan about to be honest, or if this is a video that particularly proves his point Would he rather watch a kids game where the crap lads just give it to a guy who never passes?
  17. Happy hour isn't dynamic pricing, **** me.
  18. I wore a school uniform for work the other day, can vouch for how expensive it is
  19. The Ooni always struck me as something you'd see in a real sexman's back yard, past the decking next to the hot tub
  20. Hang on a minute I've been going down on grannies for years and not once did it taste like grass, there's been some crossed wires here
  21. During my A level study leave in Jan 08 I got proper into AFCON (which explains my frankly shit grades, pop the prosecco all you like mum, I've got a D in Art) it was the year Mohamed Zidan absolutely smashed the tournament, him and Aboutrika. Proper wanted an Al-Ahly shirt but their kits are quite plain and safe (still nice) but don't have that classic African club essence of being shit but simultaneously class.
  22. Fair play on your goalless draw against 10 man Turkey @Finnegan. Bellersball in full flow, what are they cooking over there in Cymru 🔥
  23. Phoenix clubs will only exist if people have the courage of the convictions they preach. There was a Wolves fan before the season kicked off performatively chatting on Twitter about how he'd now go and see Hednesford Town because his season ticket was overpriced. I'll bloody guarantee he's renewed and been to more games at Molineux this season than non-league matches.
