  1. you’re right But not wanting to turn this thread into another political discussion thread!
  2. if it was the Sun or the Express quoting an unnamed source, I’d be very skeptical… I don’t often consider the Telegraph a paper to make things up, even if they do have a political bias interpretation sometimes..
  3. believe it or not, Forests offensives were at the lower end of the scale whilst our offense is at the top end of the offense. I don’t have it with me but it was in the Telegraph that was saying minimum 6 points for our offense..
  4. It would be pointless to appeal a 6 point deduction S that’s the minimum we could get. Appealing couldn’t get us any lower. Besides, appeals sometimes result in an increased punishment. It would not be wise to appeal -6 points.
  5. looking forward to Man City’s 1,150 point deduction if they do. Spread over 20 years would be fine.
  6. I know I have said it before, but half of those names on this list won’t touch us with a barge pole. Especially as we don’t know the size of the points deduction we are facing. No manager with a semi decent reputation will agree to take a job where they are starting off with -8 points. Especially if as rumored, we will be penny pinching this window.. Edit: I’m sorry, Fin, if this post makes it sound like I was getting at you, that wasn’t my intention.
  7. If we get 6 points, we just need to take it on the chin and close this sorry chapter and work with it. 10 points or more, appeal.
  8. expect a couple of young Chelsea players in on loan
  9. At Chelsea, every manager becomes a one season wonder..

I really admire you for always fighting and not being content with taking the easy option. I wish you could see the urban.spaceman that we see. Is there anything you can plan for an evening somewhere? Like a mini reset? A relative or friend you can go visit for the evening with your favorite tipple?
  11. crikey. He should get that back.
  12. Best that I can do...
  13. Someone suggest Yazz and the plastic population - " The only way is up" for Ellen Droad
  14. we'll be starting on minus points, don't forget... i'm going to guess at an 8 point penalty..
  15. Thank goodness Rooney just took a job...
  16. So i think the Board have got a massive decision to make. Obviously. But what i mean is, their choice of manager could go one of two ways. We need to decide sharpish what our priority is. Staying in the premier league, or building for the future. I personally am not sure if we have the finances for both. so the new manager will have to decide, can we We can get us in a few experienced heads who know how to survive in the prem? but these might not have any sell-on value and could mean we might be scratching around the bottom 8 for 2-3 seasons. Or we could being in some young lads with potential yet they may not have the ability to make a massive contribution immediately and that could possible leave us flirting with relegation... yet in 2-3 years time they could be worth a pretty penny.. can we take that risk, though? ideally, we could buy 4 ish players worth 20m each who are young but good enough to contribute immediately and then a couple in on frees/ loans to make up some numbers. I dont think we are in the financial position to go for finished articles. We also have to consider who will or won't want to join a team starting the season with a possible 8-10 point deduction... I think we will probably go for a non-English manager again, but its possibly going to be someone who is unheard of, someone who the pull of the prem might be a carrot they cant refuse. I think we will be 'shopping' in Scandinavia or Germany for a manager and will look to exploit that market...
  17. Stop to tell....
  18. Looking forward to hearing Steve McClaren say hes " Always loved Lestuh Citeh".
  19. I would absolutely trust Kasper to make us hard to beat.... if anyone can organise a defense, it would be him..
  20. he would actually make a good manager when it comes to carrying the respect. But Can a GK be tactically astute? Will they have the knowledge to break down a defense from an attacking point of view? Is there any record of GKs being successful managers?
  21. I know. Well done, Jay the security guard…
  22. Gary Taylor Fletcher as a manager? youve got to be joking.
  23. Scandinavian unknown incoming! ( just a guess )
  24. Anyone who can turn Ndidi into a dynamic attacking Midfielder gets my attention if im being honest!
