  1. I did wonder if we were taking an unnecessary risk waiting to January, but I believe a deal is already in place to secure the transfer. If we didn’t have that secured then it’s absolutely a risk we shouldn’t have taken!
  2. We were swimming in a lake close to where I live and there were several families from a specific country that were having some giant picnic together. Lots of kids. They were having fun and after they ate a few of the mum’s were taking their babies into the lake to wash them.. we soon figured out they were taking the nappys off and dumping the nappys in the lake. It was eye opening- The cultural difference. It seemed a very normal thing for them to do.
  3. US Senate majority leader Chuck Schumer has called for new elections in Israel, accusing Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu of prioritising his "political survival" above the country. Ahem. This is exactly what I said several weeks ago… that Netanyahu will keep this going for as long as possible to stay in office.. Once Hamas has been dealt with, they’ll turn their attention to Hezbollah too. He wants a legacy. He wants to be known at the one who ‘ dealt’ with Hamas and ‘ secured Israel’s sovereignty’. theres an agreement in place where no general election will be called whilst they are still at war. 4. @leicsmac there might not be much right now but you can sign up to get updates when Jobs become available. https://www.spacecentre.co.uk/about/jobs/
  5. I do actually think if we get promoted there will be a chance he re-signs. But then it will depend on how good the other offers are. I Dont see any benefit for him to move to another club in England, unless its for European football maybe.. Italy would be too technical for him a Europa team in one of the other leagues might be appealing..
  6. it probably depends on what role clubs want him to play to be honest.. If they just want him to sit in front of the defense then he's probably got the legs for another 3-4 years of that... if they want him to play like Maresca has this year, they'll be getting the WD40 out by November...
  7. To be fair all fans do something similar... i was discussing on here previously with a fan who thought we should not be punished because we won the league and the FA cup recently My reply was that if we criticized forest and Everton for breaking the rules then we just need to take any points deduction on the chin and move on. TRYING to look at it objectively, it does appear that Forest tried to spend their way into the prem and there has to be some foreknowledge that this will result in an overspend. We had European football and we had to pay the players accordingly to stay there and then it all went belly up and we found ourselves in an unsustainable position with a manager who made Mike Bassett look like a genius. Still, we didnt budget accordingly, overstretched ourselves and i cant help think if we hadn't been so hell bent on getting a high price for our players, we wouldn't be in this mess. It just feels like we played hard ball on some deals when we really shouldn't have. With regards to KDH. I think a deal has already been done for him with Brighton for the end of the season. I also think we will accept the exact amount that supposedly offered in Jan, but knowing we could sell him in june and it account for this season, it was more valuable to keep him and aid the push for promotion than to sell and have to fund a replacement in Jan. This way, we can get his replacement in at a cost to next seasons budget.
  8. haha, if that's what Forest fans are thinking, then it's likely to be about 6
  9. forest get 10 points and get relegated. we get 10 points this year and still get promoted via play off final. Happy days.
  10. If even half of the things that have allegedly happened are True, then shame on Will... you think after all the things his mother went through and how that effected her then he'd stay well clear of all that mess..
  11. Yeah. She's not helped herself really. more unwarranted attention and the conspiracists are lapping it up...
  12. well, it wont be for the money..
  13. I wouldn’t be surprised if this was an underhand tactic by then to force it. You know… “ we didn’t want to but they made us do it”
  14. We have till the end of June to flog someone! Where’s del boy when you need him?!
  15. The only thing i can add to this is that the football league is currently negotiating with the premier league for a split of TV revenue. a cynic would say that the EFL will do whatever they can to get a larger share of the revenue....
  16. And what's his excuse for Ipswich who were you know, only promoted to the champ at the beginning of the season?
  17. I would say that what we have going on now is a massive example as to why we need to increase our ground capacity. we will be able to fill 40k easily in the prem and it will increase our revenue to an extent it could make a difference in paying wages for a player or 2 each year..
  18. New bumper needed. You could probably claim on your insurance as it was ‘ a third party’ causing it, but you always run the risk of them increasing your insurance with every claim. you could get it for less than £1500 of you find a garage where the guy has a gammy leg and smokes all day.. other than that, it’s an expensive fix, really..

  21. I think you may have read into this a bit too much...
  22. I remember for my friends 16th birthday many moons ago, we were playing forest away around the same time so we wanted to get tickets. by the time we went down to filbert street the tickets were sold out so we thought we were well hard and hatched a plan that we would travel to Nottingham and buy tickets for the home end. We were egging each other on to still wear our Leicester top.. you know what its like when you are 16.. you think you can take on the world. So sure enough, match day came we are all wearing our city tops on the train over and approach the ground turn round the street corner to go in the home end and we see a massive sea of red that we'd have to walk through to get in. We absolutely bottled it, jackets went on quick zipped up to our adams apple and we are standing there not knowing what to do.. Eventually i see a police officer so i told the lads i had an idea and i went over to him and said " excuse me, is this the Forest end?" he gives me this look and i said " we cant go in here, we are Leicester fans.. " i explained that my friends Dad bought us tickets from an agency for his birthday ( which was a complete lie , of course!). We all showed him our tops and he went a little wide eyed and said " come with me" He took us through some gates to a steward who let us in to the Leicester end. we were well relieved. To make it even better the Forest tickets were 5 pounds cheaper than the Leicester end so we felt like we had truly cheated the system Not exactly getting in trouble but it could have been if we had gone into the forest end!
