He may well be a good prem player one day, but he’s going to have to make the step up gradually. it would absolutely ruin him as a player to take him from the second division and throw him him in as a lead player to ‘save our season’.

no offense but we would be foolish to judge someone’s ability to be successful in the championship by them being a stand out player for the bottom team in professional football. So who is he going to play instead of? JJ? Or even skipp? Just bring him back to maybe sit on the bench? only player who has made the successful jump for us from at least 2 divisions was Vardy and I believe he was a once in a generation talent for us. there’s absolutely no evidence to suggest Sammy can be the instant success we would need him to be to make it worth bringing him back from his loan far better to send him to a league one team second half of the season and see how he cuts it there.

why do people think because he is shining in league 2, that he can lead a charge up the championship? what has he done for us so far to suggest that? if anything, loan him to a league 1 side second half of the season and take a look at him next year..
