  1. Don’t disagree but it was the first time he’s stayed fit since he’s been here! I’m talking here value for money, wages and fees vs output - it’s not been great. Not denying he’s a good footballer with a good attitude
  2. Doubtful - in truth no one on this forum knows.
  3. Great when fit, but constantly injured - he's had millions out the club and we've stood by him while he's spent months at a time on the sidelines. Offset value for money vs playing time and its bang average.
  4. I'm expecting nothing.....bunch of clowns
  5. Sent email to the club this morning. Me, brother and Dad not renewing after 15 seasons as STH's.
  6. Where to go before the game tonight? Taking a colleague for a few before the game and I just don't do it often enough to know where is decent anymore. Thanks - Nine bar and the Western if the Uber drops us on Narb rd?
  7. I think you'll need to
  8. First time I've not seen you mention Danny Rohl-me over-and -tickle me
  9. Has he got the same clause then? News to me
  10. He's just had a baby so you could understand it if he was staying one night a week previously but asked RvN if he could knock that on the head for a few weeks, but he's been doing it since he came here. No sympathy from me given he's being offered a 5* resort for one night a week. Given how painful newborns can but he should be jumping at the chance and asking for more than one night! Not like he can't afford to pay for a Nanny to support his Mrs either.
  11. Mine is down £15K but I'm mid 30s so not close to retirement thankfully, and probably a much smaller pot than you!
  12. Anyone sh*t the bed yet?
  13. An extreme way of getting rid of some of the deadwood but one idea I can get on board with.
  14. Yeh but we have an owner who’s decisions are emotion based ….so it’s not out the ques he would dish out another 6 figure contract per week.
  15. £5m+ per year....it doesn't pass the sniff test anymore.
  16. Maybe he's still got a mortgage and a family to pay for. No way he resigns.
  17. When was that announced? The Foxestrust were lobbying for this with the club but with less than a week until renewal is there anymore info? @CosbehFox
  18. Former Nottingham Forest defender Wes Morgan has said the atmosphere around the club is "buzzing" and he "can't see any reason why there would be any slip-ups" as Nuno Espirito Santo's side challenge for Champions League football. As the graphic below shows, Opta's 'supercomputer' now gives the Reds a 93.3% chance of qualifying for Europe's elite competition after Tuesday's 1-0 win over Manchester United. "Everyone's buzzing - it's a really good feeling and things are just going from strength to strength," Morgan, who now works in the academy at the club, told 5 Live Breakfast. "You can really see the togetherness in and around the place. We're not there yet, but if you look at the table, there's seven games and you can almost taste it. "Looking at the fixtures ahead, there's not too many big challenges. The pathway is there and they just need to stay focused and not get carried away. "It's completely surprised everyone that they're in this position - but deservedly so." Source: BBC Sport/Depressing
  19. I don’t, it was their daft choice Doc
  20. No I think you might have mixed up £238K for £2.38m - which is SW emoluments, note 5 discloses all employees salaries including directors and won't split the other ''senior managers'' so it's not a case of just getting a number and dividing by 9. It's only stat directors where it's disclosed to protect people having their salaries all over the internet. I'd be staggered if anyone apart from players earn more than SW, so that put's Rudkin, CFO and anyone else senior on sub £200K most likely, which isn't the going rate for a club of our size and position, so just shows we are employing and settling for people who aren't up to it.
  21. Where have you got that from? If you are looking at note 5 on the accounts that refers to the pay of statutory directors and highest paid director, not directors by title. Where is the £2.38m and the 9 directors? Got to be careful how people interpret these accounts. I'm anti KP and the current BofD but £250K a year is probably below market rate these type of roles.
  22. Presume this is tongue in cheek, be interested to hear the mechanics of taking the proceeds from a commercial lender and ''sent it to Thailand'' Maybe PWC and HMRC have missed it.
