Emil Riis joins on 4 year deal - Official
Tommy G replied to moore_94's topic in Leicester City Forum
He’s 32 after 4 years not 38! it’s become the latest Foxestalk obsession -
Rubbish, lots of deadline day deals have gone for multiples of that in the past.
-
Classic, captain.
-
Who else would be? Unless he was employed to do a completely different job to his job title.
-
Not really, he can be flogged after the deadline
-
Not every single player is going to be between 20-25 and have a resale value
-
Weeeeeeeey get yerself down Leicester comedy festival.
-
These jokes stopped being funny about 3 years ago.
-
Good stuff - If we can get shot of Mavididi and Faes today and get the Brizzle striker in it's been a good day and window overall.
-
I read his younger brother died in the summer by drowning in a pool on holiday, grim - he was 2!
-
Direct it at KP and Top. If you want this team to get promoted this season slagging them off from minute 1 won’t work. Save it til after full time.

Page starting is positive but why bench Alves and no words for BDCR

Bit early to hit the drink isnt it?

First pro Rudkin I have seen on the forum, if you can't see how he is massively responsible for the catastrophic decline of the club then you are an ostrich.
-
He's had ample opportunity to surround himself with quality people to run the club, people that have been there and done it. Instead he has tried to do it himself, with observer levels of business knowledge - whilst maintaining the same people around him who are failures. A good leader will put corrections in place before things start to go south, whether that's people, standards, culture change, infrastructure - he's done none of that. The only empathy I feel for him is because of Vichai, everything else is his own doing.
-
That wouldn't work - I might be out of touch but I'm not sure there is that kind of structure at any leading club in world football? By the time we had consulted fans over transfers the opportunity to buy said player would have been and gone. I think there are better ways for fan engagement than having a say on transfers

Not really, bidders have had the CIM for 4-6 weeks already, this is only the first round so none of the bids are binding.
-
This will just be first round bids - everyone who’s signed an NDA will have a deadline to put together their bid or a LOI. This will be a 2 pager from the bidder listing price, rationale - deal structure, DD expectations. It’s really pretty standard stuff, all that’s been leaked here to a journo is just the deadline. There will then be a R2a and b, b being full and final offers. Could be 6-8 weeks away from that after 14th September.

Double diamond studs are a real letdown.
-
I find the bogs at National Trust places generally above average, mainly because you get a better class of people using them.
-
Probably not even then, we'll probably know when the deal is signed subject to xyz.
-
I'd be looking to chucking everything we have at Page, even if it just protects his value - in my view he is the best potential we have at the club by a country mile.
-
I realise that, my point is he's made less than 5 senior appearances for us - why not wait until Christmas to see how he is playing week in week out in this league. We could end up offering him a 3 year extension and it turns out he isnt at this level or capable of playing in the championship?
-
Do you think signing a new contract now is a priority? He needs some time to prove his fitness and if he can cut it at this level, if by miracle we go up I don't think he will cut it a Championship level, from what we've seen so far. Would be fine off the bench
