Just in case anyone was wondering… been a busy day for the social media team…

I think it’s questionable whether Brighton would allow us to take another one of their players on loan at the moment.
-
I’m puzzled why those items weren’t in your basket already 🤷🏻♂️

It’s an incoming rumour, so I don’t really care about the quality of the source, I’ll take it!

Bilal El Khannouss (Stuttgart loan, official)
DJ Barry Hammond replied to lcfc_forever's topic in Transfer Talk
You want your attacking threats closer to the goal not further away. That was one factor that resulted in an insignificant statistical return for ol’ Bilal, because he’d end up picking up the ball inside our half and be expected to miracle something for us from there. -
Can’t imagine joining us looks very attractive to any player at the moment. Mean, one simple bit of due diligence any representative would do for their client would be to scan the clubs social media and fan content… like Foxestalk. Are you recommending us as a destination for a client if you’ve glanced at some of these threads?

A buyer would need to pay what King Power would be willing to accept… the sale of players is unlikely to have a massive effect on that.
-
This scenario looks very plausible - it’s also tends to be a pre-requisite for a sale of a club because this enables a stable price to be set. On the second point - King Power have written off more than £400 million of club debt and converted it to equity, so chances are they’d want to recoup at least a significant portion of that in any sale.
-
The situation has gone beyond having a go at the ownership situation now though - there is plenty of abuse to be found directed towards players on here and social media. Now many will say that abuse is justified… but I think it’s gone beyond just opinions now and the fan base is becoming toxic too - to the extent there’s even a very vocal criticism towards those fans that simply want to support their team.
-
I think the post probably subtly points to something else more important though - the growing disconnect between the players and fans. I have no doubt that the players know what’s been posted on here about them all summer.

I should refer you to my pre-season predictions 😂

Nothing he could do with the shot from where he was… because he was outside the penalty area and in front of the ball!

Bilal El Khannouss (Stuttgart loan, official)
DJ Barry Hammond replied to lcfc_forever's topic in Transfer Talk
We have 3 games before the close of the window… that could well be evidence enough for potential Fatawu suitors. -
Amazing idea to incorporate one of those magic eye posters into a football shirt… I see a ship all at sea, what does everyone else get?

Quoting a value is one thing - actually realising it is another.

Harry Winks (gone to Cagliari, official)
DJ Barry Hammond replied to LestaLad's topic in Transfer Talk
Well Harry had match days to himself towards the back end of last season… so maybe he spent some of that time following the games on here? -
The majority of football clubs, including ours, do this via their annual accounts - which are publicly available via Companies House.

I don’t think Mavididi is clever enough in his movement to perform a false 9 role effectively; I’m skeptical whether he’d actually be any use as a striker (even if he did once play as one), let alone such a specialist role as a false 9. I also fail to see how having no spearhead for our attack would actually help our attacking play when you consider the main strength of our side is the abundance of talented players that play directly behind the striker - we don’t need another body in there reducing space for these to play in, we need a striker for them to play in time and time again.

Could we get actually get relegated again this season?
DJ Barry Hammond replied to Bevan's topic in Leicester City Forum
Are you suggesting HMS piss the league again has veered off course and is heading straight for an iceberg? This forum has a serious bi-polar disorder 🤦🏻♂️ -
Did you not see his Panini sticker?
