  1. Is Top watching? Let's make him think we care. Is Rudkin watching? Let's make him think we're worth the money. Are the fans watching? Let's show them we don't give a toss.
  2. A good result, enjoyed the game. Next up Spurs, could do with beating them. Pity the match is next Sunday, mother's day! With a 2 o'clock kick off . Not sure if we'll be there as we're going out for dinner.
  3. You can have Tops seat, he's rarely there these days! 🙄
  4. At long last we are finally getting our players back from injuries. Hopefully we can now start to move up the league table after being near the bottom for so long. C'mon ladies let's beat Man U
  5. After 52 years of supporting them through thick and thin enough is enough. Seen us win the Championship, Premier League, Fa Cup, League Cup, Charity Shield and 1st division trophy's. What's left? Can't see us winning any European trophies. So no I'll not be renewing my ST in fact I doubt whether I'll ever go to the ground again.
  6. Missed all of the second half as had to go out to see a pantomime! Looks like I should have stayed in and watched the game!! It was patently obvious from the first half that we needed to reshuffle and take control of the midfield why couldn't our management team see that?
  7. Oh no! High hopes of a win today after beating Liverpool last week.
  8. Come on ladies, let's get revenge on Everton for beating our men yesterday. Hope our new striker plays, she looks good in the video
  9. Decided after 52 years supporting city that I've seen enough. I have decided that if we get relegated, which is highly likely, that I will no longer purchase a season ticket. I feel that having been there through thick and thin (yes I still went when we were down in the third tier) and having seen us win the Premier League, the FA Cup (I was one of the fortunate ones to be at Wembley that day), Champions League football, all the trophies we have accumulated over the years. I have decided that enough is enough. If the hierarchy don't seem to care then why should I. I suppose in a way I am lucky being a season ticket holder especially when I look at the cost of match tickets, I think that as supporters we are being taken for a ride. The high cost of food and drink in the stadium, the exorbitant cost of goods in the club shop all shows how much top class football stinks these days. The high wages they are paying second rate footballers!! Your welcome to it!
  10. Another option is to play Janina Leitzig from the women's team. She a decent goalkeeper.
  11. Didn't close her down inviting a clear shot. We've held them off very well up until now. Hopefully we can sneak another or it end up a draw
  12. Thought we'd have a good season with a new manager and some new recruits. Seems like that we have gone backwards, I know that we have some of our better players injured, still expected better results though. Must ask questions about the manager.
  13. Apologies the driver had hiccups on Saturday. Hopefully he'll be feeling a lot better for tomorrow night. Still plenty of seats available, just let us know if you will be on board.
  14. It was getting dirty and smelly on here . Having given it a good wash and valeting, even fitted new seats and tyres! It's time for a Ruud awakening. Who's on board? More to the point is Raj the driver?
  15. Hope he does well Never really took to Cooper managing us. Hopefully keeps us up and we improve from then on. Who's to say that he would use us as a stepping stone if he does well with us. He may decide he likes it here and wants to stay. He may even turn out to be another Fergie, who knows? Could be exiting times ahead!
  16. All this yet still no official statement from the club yet! Or are they so slow on making announcements!
  17. Friend of said this morning that he thinks it'll be Frank Lampard! Made me smile.
  18. Will be shopping in Morrisons everyday now until I see who walks in. Will tip you all off at that point 😉
  19. Hold on, Man U. weren't in the relegation zone either so should they have kept their manager? It's ok for one team but not another. Bloody pundits no idea whatsoever.
  20. You can be sure some within the club read FT. You can also be sure that no matter what people say on here in anyway influences their decisions. If I recall correctly there was an article about Ian Holloway's missus reading the thread about us heading for relegation a few years back . She found the image of Holloway and Mandaric in a sinking boat very funny. I think it was posted by Davie G.
  21. I've always said that having watched footie for 60+ years that Vardy at his best was one of the best strikers I have ever seen. Just a shame that it was so late in his career before he came to to fore. Imagine if he'd been playing at this level 5 years earlier. He'd have been untouchable.
  22. Have said no for now. Seen enough under Cooper to realise that we're playing on a wing and a prayer. If we change manager and get someone who can improve the way we play then yes we could finish above 17th, I believe the players are good enough, it's just the management that isn't!
  23. Poor performance yet again. Simply not good enough. Just look at the stats, 35% possession with just 1 shot on target over 90 mins. It's not until added time that we really pressure them. Thought we would be much improved under this new manager seems like I was wrong. 1-0 defeat as I post.
