  1. I want to see fight and determination. I want to see energy and passion. I want to see players working for and supporting each other. I want to see players demonstrating pride in wearing the shirt and representing the foxes. 🦊 I want wingers to take on full backs, midfielders to tackle, track back and wherever possible play progressively. I want defenders to communicate and show aggression. I want forwards to show good movement and be ruthless in front of goal. In fact, the polar opposite to what I’ve witnessed this season.
  2. Give Dean Smith a break. He hardly ‘failed’ here. The damage was done well before he arrived and he only had a handful of games to salvage our season. Who knows what might have happened if Castagne’s last minute effort against Newcastle had gone in. Agree that he would be better than Martin. Anyway, he’s managing in the States with Charlotte isn’t he?
  3. Cannot understand this blind determination to play possession football building from the back a la Man City. It works for Man City because they have the players to implement it. However, the top teams have sussed it out. The opposition allow City to have possession but have a low block which they are increasingly finding it hard to penetrate. Flair players are turned into work horses who invariably play across or back. We suffered to some extent against Millwall and Plymouth towards the end of the last championship campaign. Listen to the crowd when our wingers and midfielders opt to pass back or across instead of taking a player on or being more progressive. In addition, we do not have the players to implement this effectively. How many goals did Saints give away playing out of defence this season? Look at the mess on Saturday when the keeper dwelled too long on the ball and his clearance was blocked almost leading to a goal. We had similar situations under Enzo too. We need to look at teams like Palace, Brentford, Fulham and Forest and see what is working for them. A clear style allied to fit, determined, committed and hard working players could possibly be a more successful approach in my opinion.
  4. I thought he looked a liability in the game he started. Admittedly he had a great attempt on goal early doors and might even have scored. However, his performance went downhill from there. He was reckless in his tackling and the opposition had a good shout for a penalty. He lacked discipline and was rampaging in midfield instead of attending to his defensive duties. If that is typical of his play, we need to get rid in my opinion.
  5. He ambled onto the pitch at the start of the game like he’d just spent a couple of hours at the pub. Reminded me of my Sunday League days. Spent more time tugging his shorts than he did closing the opposition down. He was dreadful. Pleased he scored for us but he is gash
  6. Didn’t catch the name of the new Leicestershire band who played at half time at the Saints game. Enjoyed their song. Who were they? Anyone know anything about them? Up and coming gigs?
  7. Ruud has to go. No leadership, no passion, no idea
  8. Jacob’s injured, or at the very best returning from injury.
  9. Not excusing the performance… but we are decimated by injuries and suspensions. The outcome was likely to be the same if Cooper was still in post. Don’t disagree with your assessment of Hamza and Skipp
  10. Not if we play the side that started against Newcastle
  11. Isn’t Stolarzyk still injured, or returning from injury? Agree that Iversen is better in my opinion
  12. For goodness sake. We have players out injured and suspended. It’s not as though Ruud had much choice. Had he selected this side with a full squad to chose from, then he would have been lambasted
  13. He’s the worst parts of Patson Daka and Kelechi Iheanacho
  14. Is his nickname Heinz?
  15. We’d be in a jam if he was
