@Foxes_Trust next time you are having your love in with Whelan and are amazed by her passion, share this with her. This is the operation she is chief officer of. You can stand there and applaud as she gives you whatever ridiculous reason to justify such treatment.

I can respect (though I don’t agree) when someone is against the protest because they don’t feel it is best for the club. May feel another route is required. I absolutely understand and respect when someone tells me that getting personal, insulting etc. is not on. They’re right. I mean I’m at the absolute end with the leadership and fall into that trap and it’s not ok - I can recognise that. The one thing I can’t understand, respect or take seriously is when someone makes it out like what has happened to us is fine. It’s absolutely not. I think these people do need educating and it’s for the rest of to do it. There is no one who has the requisite intelligence and looks at the demise and the short time and thinks, it’s all good. Sorry, it’s a ridiculous take. There is a conversation and pressure that needs to be applied, how we do that should absolutely be debated. Pretending it’s all normal is completely off the table.

But it’s his job to know mate. He is chairman of the board and that isn’t an excuse.

The thing about volunteer organisations is time. People who can add genuine value being able to allocate enough time to provide genuine value. And the reality is most who could do that, can’t. That’s true for every not for profit organisation up and down the country, How people counteract that is by creating a “board of advisors” to contribute, advise, help deliver on the project. For example, there isn’t a Comms professional, accountant, lawyer, dr, fighter jet pilot or anyone else who would sign off on a statement expressly praising a CEO who has been awol since 2017. What is there to gain. I can’t understand how the sign off meeting went off, with no information being provided (which already would’ve wound up a irate fan base) to expressly praise an idiot who is at the forefront of the issues of the club. Like was there a show of hands and the question being, shall we piss them off some more. Volunteering is fine - the board should actively look on how to reduce their shortcomings / there are plenty of capable LCFC fans who might not have the time or want to be a “board/committee member”.

Yes, don’t disagree with you. Unfortunately we don’t.

It’s is perfectly justifiable to criticise the businessman for not attending meetings based on importance - this one is more important given the background compared to others - that’s my point.
-
It was also interesting to note her passion for the club in responding and wanting to provide answers, subject to confidentiality. There was a genuine desire to take on-board views from a supporter perspective and to explore possible solutions, short- and long-term. Foxes Trust - can you explain what it was that demonstrated Whelan’s passion you felt compelled to mention here ? Did she get up and bang on the table while repeatedly chanting Foxes Never Quit ? What was it ? This bit alongside the “other directors” comment displays the ineptitude of a bunch of under qualified people holding meetings beyond their usual pay grade. There was no need for this - after one meeting with a CEO who has seen the value of the business plummet at an alarmingly and so absent that people question if she “gets involved in football”. The other directors comments is critical to show how under qualified the current board is. Either Rudkin was there or he wasn’t. If he wasn’t there, that absolutely needs to be expressly set out in any statement. And suggesting you’re bound by confidentiality, part of leadership is communicating efficiently. Instead of your ridiculous love in comments because Whelan said hello to you, should be a clear communication “other directors were present but expressly requested confidentiality which was disappointing” fans would appreciate reading between the lines. And if he wasn’t there, don’t you feel it’s necessary to flag. Just a quick google of the foxes trust leadership and you can see they lack any sort of background to offer any value to the fan base at this time. Like a lot of other things associated with the club, not fit for purpose.

He’s not someone who takes responsibility. An owner doesn’t have to be at every game. The thing is, he wants to be at the forefront of success despite adding absolutely nothing - Top has contributed zero to anything we have achieve but he will be there, front and centre. Any business owner with any worth would’ve been present yesterday when their set up was being challenged by large parts of their customer/fanbase. He wasn’t present in any form. Not even a genuine release of words etc. Releasing a poxy set of notes he didn’t write or read, shows the immaturity of the kid. I struggle to see how anyone has loyalty to him over the club.

Ruud van Nistelrooy - New Manager - Official
Mickyblueeyes replied to moore_94's topic in Leicester City Forum
I don’t think he has done anything of note to say we wouldn’t have done X or Y if he wasn’t here. Adds nothing. Yesterday was typical. 80 minutes and he offered nothing to the side in terms of management. You could see some players tiring at 65 minutes. He has no idea how to switch formations, be pro active. The thing is you expect him to get somethings right and somethings wrong but he is usually wrong. With him here, we are simply going through the motions. I think he will end up being a decent coach. But this isn’t a manager. -
Just had a look at the fixtures and I think next is absolutely huge. Ipswich have Spurs at home. we’ve for Brentford and Wolves have Bournemouth away. None of them are easy games but from this week playing Villa, Liverpool and Arsenal - you’ve got to look at those against mid table teams who could beat anyone on their day and hope one has an off day. This is all of course on the basis Wolves lose tomorrow
-
Ipswich lost to Saints last week. So I think we are both as shit as each other. what they are doing during this difficult period that we are not is scraping the odd draw. We have what 5 ? They’ve got 8. In this horrendous run, Man C, Villa, Palace, Fulham and today should’ve all been potential draws with better game management.

Stay for next season ? Yeah, if he wants to be an assistant or first team coach. No way can we have him as manager. -
Lol

Vardy is out best striker but leaving a 38 year old up there for 90 plus minutes agains Gabriel and Saliba, feeding off scraps is stupidity. Taking Ndidi off to go gung ho is stupidity, Not utilising your squad is stupidity. Every player in our squad is not a superstar but as Okoli and Woyo showed today, there’s capability there. You can’t keep doing the same dumbshit and sit there and say, we are unlucky. That was a hell of an effort for 75 minutes. They’ve been let down by the manager.

Can’t look past anyone but RVN who has to be one of the poorest managers I’ve seen here in terms of decision making since Craig Levein. His players put a shift in for 75 and absolutely no help from him. Too many poor decisions. Honestly, I think he has coaching ability but no management ability. -
Great effort for 75 minutes but incredibly poor management again. Let them down
-
38 year old striker has run himself into the ground and the manager (if you can call him that) still not thinking of protecting his players.
-
And if BCDR and Ayew are default choice it means you’ve got the wrong system for the players. BCDR and Ayew have something to offer, no doubt. But when you’re going to be under the cosh for large parts of the game, you’re killing any relief with this approach. The press will be non existent too. A manager with no ideas.
-
Boring boring RVN.
-
Start one of bcdr or ayew. Facundo or Mavididi on the other side. With Ndidi back, we have a ball winner to offer some support. Start another defender and go 3 atb. Start another midfielder and go 3 in the centre to free up Bilal. Drop Justin and give Coullibaly a go. Drop Faes off a cliff. There’s plenty to try. The point is, he is on the verge of what his 10th defeat in 11 in all competitions and has given up on ideas.
-
lol. Routine.

WHO WERE THE OTHER DIRECTORS YOU REFERENCED AT THE MEETING ?
