Great to see Mansfield holding their own now. Would love them to be top 6 come end of the season.

Middlesbrough such a weird team. Never know if they’re gonna turn up or not. Today they obviously have. -
Everton have a great fanbase and when they score they are mental but I’m not gonna pretend Goodison has an amazing atmosphere. The fans are really on top of the players at Goodison though, with how old it is, and they will lose that. That was more of my point.
-
I wasn’t referring to atmosphere with my post although I do feel everything about older grounds is more intimidating for opposition players and fans. New grounds are too nice for players.
-
This is it, I’ve not seen a 90 minute performance from the players yet. We seem to have good halves. Players came out on Friday night looking like they couldn’t be arsed for the second half (if you noticed Mavididi he was still clapping the fans as the referee blew the whistle). I’d like to have known what was said to them.

Explains a lot of my posts tbf, especially this season.
-
Happens all the time. Same people want the manager out regardless.
-
Modern grounds are so easy to be an opponent in. They are to nice.
-
That is true although for him to win that was excellent. Also I think it was actually Doyle who was the one that won it back.
-
Oh I see. Fair enough.
-
Yeah I agree, and Fabregas is a good shout but I don’t think what they did as players matters which was my point.
-
Don’t think he’d come here.
-
The board did that. However, that wasn’t my point. The past experience as a player was.
-
If he’s the most inept at this level why have three other managers not won a single game yet? Ipswich and Southampton are the worse teams in the league.
-
Past playing experience doesn’t matter? We were bottom of the league under Sousa who should have had the footballing pedigree to command respect. Rodgers did nothing as a player but won us a major trophy.
-
It was excellent defending. He didn’t give the ball straight to him.
-
Wolves end looked so good when they equalised.
-
Should be giving it a good go. Any chance of winning a trophy should be taken seriously.
-
Coady was rubbish after Palace but now he’s the saviour.
-
Strong team. Get to pens. Bring Ward on. Job done.
-
Nice touch by Bristol City with their tribute for Manning. Must have been emotional for him. Leeds fans interrupting it singing. Expect no less from them.
-
Only trouble is Villa were obviously ambitious to go and get Emery. Our board wouldn’t do it, they seem to stick to what they know/managers from this Country/managers with PL experience. Massive shame because Villa have shown how to turn around a team with one great appointment.
-
I can’t remember them missing a clear cut opportunity like we did. OR maybe it’s because I support Leicester so I can only remember that chance. I don’t know.
-
Enzo said in a recent interview he phoned Ranieri about taking the job and Ranieri said he was sacked after winning the league..
-
I don’t disagree. I don’t think Cooper is the man, neither was I too happy with his appointment but people putting wins down to just “luck” is really annoying. All teams ride their luck, even the top teams. I forget how many times I end up seeing Man City or Arsenal win a game they didn’t really deserve too. But nobody ever calls them lucky.
