I`m sound off already !

OK, sorry for the delay in answering t been a bit busy, maybe "nasty" isn`t quite the right word but the post was insulting and demining. firstly, shouting the word charity at me, I paid my entry, bought raffle tickets, food etc for that very reason ! I was fully aware, and praised the work of all the volunteers and the Refs, and at no time gave them any grief ! the point about runners up deserving nothing as absolutely ridiculous, I have been involved in football, playing, managing, refereeing and organising since 1969 I have never known the runners up in any tournament, and I have attended hundreds, to receive no recognition whatsoever, especially when there is a second tier competition, which is a brilliant idea by the way, that does. finally about being "bothered and upset about amateur football" there were a lot of teams, and rightly so that took their matches very seriously and put in very hard shifts on an extremely hot day! you have no idea about me, or my priorities although supporting this event was clearly one of them !! regardless of differing opinions the kids lost the final on a dubious technicality and that`s my final word ! WELL DONE AGAIN TO ALL INVOLVED ON A BRILLIANT DAY

Good grief buddy, what an unreasonable, nasty and unwarranted response. none of our group gave any officials any problems at all and I was full of praise for all concerned, my point was a fair and measured one and contained no malice whatsoever. will certainly think twice before entering again though !

Was a really enjoyable and well organised day, I entered a team of young lads who did really well to reach the main final, which brings me to my only small gripe, they lost the final 1v0 to an extremely contentious penalty for making a defensive challenge the wrong side of a non existent line, not a foul but a technicality ! the kids were gutted to A, receive nothing for being runners up and B be robbed of a chance to have a penalty shoot out against Conrad :-( well done UFS on a brilliant day and for giving up their time for a fantastic cause :-)

Damn right it is, as long as we get a Singah and a coconut free :-)

Has anyone come across any merchandise, T shirts, pictures etc commemorating the 500 / 200 achievement ?

Maybe not "right now" on the way back from North London having just experienced the shattering blow of losing a semi final !

Agree, amazing to think that they were both relegated the season we won the league !!

Dunno, maybe it is a stupid theory BUT none of us actually know who or what is killing our club, everyone is assuming, guessing and accusing without the faintest idea of what`s going on.

How do we know that he (Apichet) and other board members are not the problem, maybe restricting or even blocking what Top would like to spend or do?

Yeah "really" don`t see what`s funny mate, we all like to slag people off, sing "out" songs etc BUT no one actually knows what`s going on and why everyone at the club isn`t pulling in the same direction.

Have had one since 1970 so why would I stop now ? am NOT by any means a happy clapper or sandwich eater and am thoroughly hissed off with the current state of the club, would love to know who / what is the cause of the dreadful situation we are in and why sod all is being done about it !
