  1. It’s still £25 but now it’s going to charity.
  2. Ok. That's useful to know. If true, then it's only player sales that would enable us to avoid another breach this year. And if KDH is really as intent on staying as he claims to be, we need a rapid fire sale of 5-6 others...
  3. Is that right? Even if it's a multi-year sponsorship and the money arrives in our bank account before 30 June?
  4. Yeah but then one us will see that and can report back that they’re still going on about us.
  5. The claim by numerous Leeds fans on social media that we’re obsessed with them while they are completely indifferent to us is slightly undermined by the fact that on their main forum there is a thread dedicated to us, currently running at five pages, entitled ‘Leicester scum’.
  6. I have no idea whether the threat of legal action against us if we breach PSR for this year too is plausible or not. However, if it is, wouldn't it be best for us if the team in 3rd spot wins the play-offs?
  7. He said "I have no intention of leaving", which is a bit stronger than "I don't want to leave".
  8. I think it can be fairly assumed that the reluctance to get rid of Rodgers was at least partly due to how his compensation would affect us regarding PSR. If we'd have just bitten the bullet and swallowed the cost of that in the summer of 2022 when he'd clearly had enough, we would have already been hit with a points deduction this season but with a decent managerial appointment may have accumulated enough points to survive it.
  9. True. When the Vietnamese invaded Cambodia in 1979, ending the Khmer Rouge's genocidal rule of the country, they discovered that Pol Pot's HQ in Phnom Penh was covered in signed pics of Frank Worthington, Keith Weller and Lenny Glover.
  10. Not just that, he probably would not regard it as career progression. He’s just won promotion with his hometown club and has a fantastic relationship with his manager and teammates. Why would he want to leave unless it was to a club either in, or genuinely competing for, the Champions League?
  11. No you can’t. It’s not a slave market. If the only offer we get is from Brentford and KDH says he won’t sign a contract with them, there is literally nothing else the club can do except try to generate the funds another way.
  12. The media is full of stories that we might have to sell him. Maybe he’s simply making it clear that he won’t agree to leave?
  13. So he’s confirmed tonight that he has ‘no intention’ of leaving. I had a feeling this would happen. Hopefully the club has a plan B for raising funds…
  14. ‘Seriously considering’. Interesting that Dorsett thinks a final decision hasn’t been made yet. Even if we DO decide to sell him, what if he doesn’t want to go? Will we do what we did with Matt Piper and ask him to leave for the good of the club?
  15. Ricky Wilson has already been booked.
  16. It's all in the game, yo.
  17. I want him just for the opportunity to quote The Wire extensively in match threads.
  18. Just for the dressing room? He's literally the best striker we have. Obviously we'll need to purchase a new striker in the summer, but Vardy absolutely has a role to play on the pitch next season - not just in the dressing room.
  19. He's 38 - young enough to learn. And sometimes the best way to learn is to go through the pain of messing up and coming out the other side. It seems a little early to write him off.
  20. If that happens, I can absolutely see him going. But if a bid doesn't materialise from a club he'd genuinely like to join, I think he'll be with us next season. Which means we'll have to raise money from elsewhere if we want to avoid another PSR breach.
  21. He's obviously the most obvious one to sell if we need to generate funds for PSR purposes. However the clubs rumoured to be interested in him - so far at least - are Brentford, Brighton and Fulham. I can't see him regarding any of those as a significant step up now that we're back in the PL. Would he be up for a sideways move away from his hometown club, where he clearly gets on brilliantly with the manager and seems very settled? I can't see it.
  22. I suspect KDH would prefer to stay - he's thriving under Maresca and I'm sure he'd like to be a part of what happens next. I definitely can't see him willingly joining the likes of Brighton or Fulham, so the only way he'll likely be persuaded to leave is if a genuinely big club comes in for him. This may complicate matters.
  23. Indeed he should. The bloke clearly cares deeply about the club and is very popular with the players. It’s astonishing that anyone is so bitter and mean-spirited to complain about him enjoying the moment.
  24. A large number of their fans seem to be under the impression that we’ve somehow breached PSR this season despite the accounting period not being over for another two months. On the basis of this misapprehension, they’ve concluded we’ve ‘cheated’ our way to the title and are convinced their owners are on the brink of suing us to oblivion. They’re not the brightest bunch, that’s for sure.
