Cifuentes has just said in his presser that BEK is available tomorrow, for what it's worth. -

He made his instagram profile pic black for a short period yesterday before switching it back to normal. Just how much more evidence do you need, exactly?! -

Reports suggest that we no longer need to sell anybody to meet PSR requirements and so we're not desperate for the money. This puts us in a much stronger bargaining position that we would be in if we hadn't generated any funds through other sales. -

Given that refusing to play for us would severely damage his prospects of appearing for Morocco in the AFCON and the World Cup, I'm inclined to believe that once the transfer window shuts he'll accept his fate and knuckle down. Far more likely he'll do that than deliberately damage his career by sulking in the stands. -

Why would we possibly agree to that? -

They might do, but any deal would still depend on us having a replacement lined up. The closer it gets to the end of the window, the less likely it is to happen as other clubs will be less willing to do business. -

Nonsense. Later this morning we'll hear a rumour that Bilal started a sit-down protest at the entrance to Seagrave, temporarily causing a tailback on Park Hill Lane, before his mum came along, told him to pack it in and led him off by his ear. Shortly afterwards he'll be seen training as normal and Marti will praise him for his professionalism in his presser this afternoon. This evening Sacha Tavolieri will post a cryptic image on his X account of Jesus on the cross surrounded by Roman soldiers wearing fox pelts over their armour.. -

I hope we put the price up to £40m after this. -

As others have said, an extraordinary interview with Lee. Incredibly powerful stuff. I completely agree with Jordan and Jake on Hamza. He's one of the few genuine leaders we have and could be very important for us this season. His performance and leadership on Saturday were immense. -
Has anybody clarified why the nightclub sign always gets pinned on Winks? It always gets cited in the case against him, but as far as I'm aware nobody has ever shown that it was down to him more than anybody else.

They brought on several of their first 11 in the second half when they were chasing the game, including Stansfield, Paik and Kyogo. They had loads of possession but didn’t manage a shot on target, not dissimilar to their stats on Saturday against Oxford. -

To be fair Mads isn’t playing tonight so they can’t pin the Wolves goal on him… -

This report claims that Palace want to sign Pino AND BEK... https://tbrfootball.com/crystal-palace-lead-race-to-sign-fascinating-talent-as-well-as-48m-yeremy-pino/ -
Really? If you were offered the choice, right now, between getting promoted or surviving in the Championship with Winks vs getting relegated to League One without him, you'd actually choose to relegated? And you'd make this choice solely because he's currently a bit mardy and has walked straight down the tunnel at the end of a couple of games? That's how much it means to you?

When he's on the pitch he's working hard and is comfortably our best player in that position. Obviously it would be better if he celebrated our goals and acknowledged the fans etc, but on balance I think I'd rather have a petulant player who actually contributes than endure an entire season of Skipp and Soumare...

Judging from the stats and the match report, they hardly troubled the Oxford keeper despite dominating possession & most of their sixteen shots were speculative efforts. Lots of passing the ball around but very few clear chances created. They will try to dominate the ball on Friday, so it will be very different to our first three games. I fancy us to get the win. -
Nobody triggered his release clause when he was available for less than he is now, so it would hardly be surprising if it turns out that no club is now willing to pay a higher price. Maybe Palace assumed we'd be desperate to sell him and would lower our price & have been frustrated to find we're not willing to that (hence Tavioleri's tweet about things being 'tense'). Maybe they'll get so desperate they'll swallow their pride and cough up what we're asking, but as things stand I have a feeling BEK might still be with us this time next week...
