  1. What's annoyed me most is that I now need to find those 5 new trophies on Astros Playroom before starting this one. Clearly was always going to do well from the trailer earlier this year. Price is steep though, 55 quid.
  2. We've been far too defensive today against the opposition. What happens when we go to Villa Park? 6 points most likely down the drain when if we're actually going for teams at home could be at most 3 down the drain. Far too conservative in his approach. We should be going for it at home.
  3. Rudkin is leaving this one until 23:00 and 13 seconds. He can then at least claim that his transfer business is gaining pace.
  4. Everton is an absolute must win. Any win before that is a bonus.
  5. He's done a great job of not answering the question there.
  6. Wordle 1,162 3/6 ⬜⬜🟨⬜🟨 🟩🟩🟨⬜⬜ 🟩🟩🟩🟩🟩
  7. The problem is not the energy usage, it's the standing charge which is far too high.
  8. AC Mirage will take you roughly 30 hours to platinum. Including the additional Ali Baba and the 40 Thieves mission (which is 60 Ubi credits from the store - get this and the Altair costume for another 60 credits as you won't get any further free credits to spend) and a final contract that becomes available after the main story is done, you're looking at an extra hour beyond that. It's the best game since the Ezio trilogy imo. Basim came across quite unlikeable in Valhalla and I didn't care much for him. Following Mirage, I hope they continue to use him in future games as the story involving him throughout, especially at the end of Mirage, is brilliantly done and ties in well with his motives in Valhalla. There's a certain point in the story which I never saw coming and the way it is executed is brilliant. Basim has grown on me, if Ubi can get some current day stuff going again like they did with Desmond, the games will be all the more better for it. The use of the soundtrack throughout also adds to it and the rendition of Ezio's Family here and how it fits in is the best since AC2. Valhalla was exhausting to sit through and Mirage offers up a total change of pace. It takes some getting used to as the game is all about planning moves, scouting guards, using hidden areas, blending in with the crowds, hiring merchants, eavesdropping and making use of all the tools available. It's basically AC1 done superbly well in that respect. The setting of Baghdad is excellent. Clever little touches here and there add to the flow of the parkour around the city and it's very well put together. There are collectables but they are few and far between in comparison with previous games which never makes that part of the game a chore at all. The emphasis is on picking contracts, investigations, planning moves, being an assassin and escaping. There are several historical references which Ubi have done well with here. Took my time with these and learnt a few bits and pieces along the way. In terms of performance, the game is the best looking AC game created. However, I found the game stutters on the map screen for some reason and there's the odd screen tear here or there but apart from that it runs well. If there is a negative, then again combat is the weakest area of the game. At first it is tricky to get the hang of, as it is different to the 125 hours plus of button mashing that Valhalla implemented, but once you get used to the parry system, it's too easy. Probably will be AC Shadows downfall unless it ends up being as good as Tsushima. So yes, go out and buy the game. It's roughly 20 quid at the minute. Bargain! It's short compared to Valhalla, Odyssey and Origins, but it's a quality 30 hours that never loses focus or feels overly bloated with mindless raids, or pointless side quests or hunting down 1000+ chests. As it's in my top 5 now I'd put it here: AC2, AC2 Brotherhood, AC Mirage, AC Revelations, AC Origins. And this soundtrack is a masterpiece especially with how it fits in with the game (which I won't spoil here!):
  9. I think that's a little harsh on Cooper. We were well on top until the long stoppage for the concussion. The momentum was lost when this happened, that's not on Cooper, that's just how the game goes sometimes. Without the stoppage, we may have well gone on to score a second goal, Spurs were all over the place.
  10. He does the basics well. He's also physically quite strong which is important for us as last night in many positions around the pitch we didn't seem to cope too well with them man for man, especially in the first half. Need him on the pitch for his presence. Hopefully, Skipp will add to this too. Although we need to find the right balance between digging in when required and showing some attacking intent.
  11. Should be 2 right there.
  12. Ezio's theme has become the mainstay of all the AC games, especially in the recent RPGs, but the way in which it is implemented in AC Mirage is epic. Best adaptation since AC2 imo.
  13. Why are we putting bigger money on positions which do not need as much attention as those other key areas which do (such as this one)? Such a bizarre approach to signing players. Very little makes any sense whatsoever.
  14. It made me laugh that BBC Radio Leicester made this guy their primary focus of conversation on Thursday night for almost an hour and then less that 3 hours later it was confirmed he was going elsewhere.
  15. Radio Leicester spend their whole time discussing this transfer this evening as if it's almost done. What a mess. Why can't we conclude business quickly? Total shambles.
  16. At this rate the PL may as well start with 19, rather than 20 teams.
  17. The 5-0 loss at home to Bolton many years ago continues to stick in my mind. The frustration clear to see, Muzzy whacking the ball in the stands at full time. This will be worse.
  18. Wordle 1,153 3/6 🟩🟨⬜⬜⬜ 🟩⬜🟩🟩🟩 🟩🟩🟩🟩🟩
  19. Tbf Sir Les was a decent signing. He had a good run with us that season.
  20. Compared to Mirage, it's very hard to class it as an AC game. It's so far removed from that original core assassination/stealth gameplay it becomes mundane after 50 or so hours.
  21. Final thoughts at some point next week. I'm roughly 22 hours, about 2/3s through Mirage now. It's still in my top 5 of all AC games. Reminds me a lot of that original trailer (see below) and subsequent first game with all the refinements which were needed then, made now.
