I assume if Cooper is appointed, Ndidi (if he choses to sign again) will be used as a "midfield destroyer" again and not a "number 8"
-
A lot of the players had said during the season that they liked the new style of play and that they had learned a lot from his philosophy, so now to go back to a "backwards" style of play will prove a bit tricky for some, especially Ricky P, Winks etc
-
This is it, imagine the players, having to keep going back and forth with styles of play - If we have a vision and a long term plan then why keep changing it? - honestly It just seems like we are desperate now and we take whoever we can get (or the only manager that says yes) - just a bit shambolic as I can't imagine that Cooper was ever our first, second or even third choice really.
-
So far we have had - £25 cardgate - Price rise for match tickets, pending points deduction and the possibility of Cooper This is going well so far isn't it?

Potter Cooper Corberán The good, the bad and the ugly - which is which?!?
-
This must be it! Top's new wife must have had a thing for Enzo - so now Top has vowed to get the "least best looking" manager there is around. That's it I've solved it. The ONLY possible explanation.
-
The only way I would be slightly ok with this is if the LCFC twitter team posted this GIF:

Sky Sports just posted..... https://www.skysports.com/football/news/11095/13155319/steve-cooper-close-to-being-appointed-new-leicester-city-head-coach Although it seems like they are not quite certain as they mention Potter "is also on the Foxes' managerial shortlist"
-
The shambles of the club are well documented, however like I said, IF Potter has turned us down after not being in a job for such a long time and perhaps not having many options at this moment in time, you also have to question him. We are what we are in terms of the potential points deduction etc. However even with the players we have there is no reason why a decent manager couldn't keep us up. Either he has no faith in his ability or he think's he is too good for us.
-
If Potter has indeed turned us down again - I really hope we never go back there again! The guy has managed (badly) one big club and now he's too good for anyone outside the top 6 - the arrogance is crazy! If/When the Copper thing goes south and I hear we're back in for Potter, that is the day I hand back my season ticket.
-
This! Can be the only explanation really.

oh dear - yes I missed the wink emoji - still - shit joke

This for me, is one of the most cringiest posts lcfc have ever done. He's not one of our own and hardly did anything whilst he was there, that's poor.

This is quite interesting as to what the players want as first game.... https://www.instagram.com/p/C8G7PjdKVmF/?igsh=MXRzbTF2Zjd5N3I4cA== -
Signed?!...

It is interesting that not one player (not that I am aware of anyways) has come out and said anything about Enzo now that it has been confirmed. Maybe in the coming days, but usually once a manager leaves it's more or less straight away they come out with something on their socials.

The hierarchy at Leicester do u trust them yes or no
hejammy replied to Kienan dewsbury croc's topic in Leicester City Forum
I do feel that they maybe have blinkers on and are not in touch with the reality of the situation. We need a manager that can stabilise us for a few seasons and keep us in the EPL. Yes I understand we need a long term plan and vision to get back to the days of top 8 finishes but realistic that won't happen for the foreseeable future, so we now need to shift to a short/medium term plan. We need a manager who knows how to grind out results. Make us a team who are scrappy and hard to play against. -
Leicester 'could face points deduction next season'

This is a decent article which explains the situation fairly well I feel. https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/articles/cge88jkn92jo -
Not me but my son. In the lift on holiday wearing my Leicester City top, a chap says 'welcome back to the Premiership' , my son as we exit the lift says....' What's the Premiership?'
-
Whatever happens I just hope we don't let it drag on. Last thing we want is for a manager to come in the last week before the season starts and have little time to get his own players in and adjust the style of play to something a bit more effective for us in the Premier League.

First day at the job meeting Vardy..... "oooh record goal streak friends" Vardy dropped and never plays again. Players meeting. Ruud sacked.

Even at the Q&A session earlier this year. He seemed genuinely uninterested and very cocky. Good riddance I say. Want someone here who wants to be here.
