Well all the “experts” thought it was a harsh decision if anything but as you say so many different rules and potential outcomes I am not sure there is one set guideline.
You certainly hope with a few more regulars in the team fit and fully ready to go we might be better but tbh regardless of how we do up till the World Cup don’t think we will win it which I guess is the only target .
Palestine miss out on the next round of the Asian qualifiers with a 97th minute penalty for Oman.
UAE, Qatar, Saudi, Oman, Indonesia and Iraq left in it.
Trouble is we have seen other teams and players perform really well so then people say that isn’t an excuse but yes there certainly wasn’t anyone who can say they took their chance to impress .
Seems to be a common theme we are rubbish at this time of year no matter who the manager is .
We aren’t going to win the World Cup - be comments made about the climate and travelling as we draw nearer I am sure.
Sometimes the grass isn’t greener etc ?
The big issue is how poor the defence was - very open and caught out .
Bellingham was unlucky but generally no complaints at all .
Knew Sarr would score - cue loads of tutting on social media from our fans who didn’t think he was all that .
Personally thought the lad did ok TBF when fit and with some confidence but did rather seem to lose his way a bit .
