Now we're in a position where you can watch 2nd tier football from Belarus, I think international tournaments have lost a bit of their magic. For me, a lot of the magic was watching a collection of the best english players come up against teams made up mainly of unknowns or top class players that you rarely ever get to see. Lots of different styles of football and an air of unpredictability. Now the default tactic of almost every international team is pretty similar and if you have the slightest inclination, you can be pretty well versed on all teams. With that in mind and then adding in the fact that our manager has gonads that size of garden peas, I find it very difficult to get up for it. Which is a shame as I used to absolutely love Euros/World Cups. I'll still watch the games and take an interest, but I wish I had that same excitement that I had for it as a kid.

I'm sure everyone would be in favour of something that improves decision making without detracting from entertainment the game, the reason people fall in love with the game and spend obscene amounts of time, money and effort to follow. Goal line technology is a perfect example of this. At the minute, the balance is so far off it's unbelievable and detracting from the experience. Removing VAR and introducing semi-automated offside decision making would be a great step forwards this summer.

Yeah I agree to all. It's going to be very different next season and the ability for our defenders to defend will be crucial if we don't want to ship 65+ goals. If Enzo loses sight of that then it's gonna be a very long season.

I guess it depends how insecure they are I guess. If they prefer other teams not having success over them doing well because they're worried about fans of the other team saying mean things, then they're very insecure I'd rather just worry about my team and want it to do as well as possible. If we're talking the difference between 12th and 11th then fair play. The difference between Champions legaue and Europa league is night and day though.

I should have said If Spurs can win both of their games they have a fairly good chance. Villa looked well shaky last night and Palace are on fine form, I wouldn't be shocked in the slightest if they lost away to Palace.
