Bournemouth FA Cup (a) Match Thread

I don't understand how essentially the same team got battered by Millwall and Birmingham first half of rd 3 and 4. Yet Bournemouth have barely laid a glove on us -

Read it, I write for it They've making a team made up of rusty and poor players look their equals. A far cry from their Man City performance at the weekend. -

Dno why they didn't just pass them to the left back to pass into the net If Bournemouth contrive to lose to this team it'll be their Wycombe -

Solid start, cant decide who is more ill prepared for this game. Iraola or Keown Seems like they've finally cottoned on to how we play. I hope we never sign Billing, the bloke.makes Soumare look like Kante -

Now I think about it. Maybe it'll be praet in there and Raikhy and Yunus as the 8s. Probably makes more sense -

I count 4 starters from the Man City game. The talent they have brought on up front us not much weaker either tbh. Billing in for Christie as well. Our best hope is that they don't fancy breaking any records. Or we don't try and play our usual style. The former seems much more likely though. -
Leeds and Saints will likely rotate a lot and take hammerings as well vs Liverpool and Chelsea.

No winks to hold Hamzas hand. This is gonna be a car crash Can only hope their reporter was wrong in predicting Iraola goes strong

Usually playing a scratch side against better opposition you could cling to the hope of keeping it tight and maybe hitting the opposition on the break. However knowing our manager is inflexible in his approach, it's a shame tonight has the air of inevitability that we'll take a bashing. We got lucky against Millwall and Birmingham both games we should have been 3 or 4 down at half time. Can't imaging we'll be let off the hook quite so easily tonight and it could be 4 or 5 by half time. On the plus side, if you're into bashing bookies, it's quite a little opportunity.

I agree, I was just pointing out hypocrisy really

There's no sensory room available and they offer out packs, as far as I can see. I'm genuinely intrigued what people would suggest the club could be doing better? Apologies if I'm missing a glaring point. It was a flippant comment and apologies if it upset you bud. I can be clumsy with my words I love a pile on the club but I can't really see what they're doing wrong outside of the norm of just being out of touch with their fanbase and humans as whole. It seems that the complaint is more that the club are shocking when it comes to fans that just fancy going to one off games, which is well established and something that's been discussed a lot.
-
Well I know there are some people that aren't interested in football but weirdly follow Leicester. However a lot of people are football fans and have opinions on the game outside of our club. Within this group of people, there will be those that have complained about teams not taking the cups seriously. It's always been a fairly common viewpoint of football fans
-
I just know there are people wanting a weak team that have berated big teams for not taking cups seriously in the past
-
They do offer packs don't they? - Although you'd imagine people already have ear guards etc they can take with them anyway. Short of giving every autistic kid their own private box I'm not sure what else they can be doing to help with the experience? If it's about getting a ticket then autism has nothing to do with it. That's the club being absolutely shocking at wanting to attract fans (that aren't willing to pay for a ridiculous membership).

Not sure it's an opinion, I think that's just stating a fact haha. We routinely get it at Coalville. Benefits the club financially though, all you have to do is grit your teeth and try and not get rattled by hundreds of people singing "Coalville are massive everywhere we go" knowing that it'll be back to the usual 20-30 that attend away games for the next away day
-
Yeah, I hope the club refund the fans as were going to get walloped unless Bournemouth play their kids.
-
If we're really not arsed about the game we may as well send out 5 or 6 promising u18s instead of playing our 22/23 year old "academy" players.

Brendan Making The Headlines It Seems

Haha can't help himself. Sexist is pushing it a bit, but he's definitely a condescending nob. Absolutely love it, hope she's back at it again roasting him next week I still find it mad how many people here adored the man and defended him when it was plain to see he's clearly a massive narcissist. -
Christ, we got taken apart by two awful teams and somehow luckboxed our way through to this round. Looks like it'll be 3 defeats on the spin with 1 being a loss to a rival and another being an absolute pasting, which I imagine won't be great for confidence at the club.

Leeds United (A) 3-1 - Post-Match Thread

Next season is gonna be painful when Leeds are one of the few teams we'll be expected to win to pick up points against
