Premier League has charged LCFC with an alleged breach of PSR
filbertway replied to moore_94's topic in Leicester City Forum
Yeah, thats true. If the owner puts the money up and agrees to be liable for any costs over 90% of the clubs turnover then fill your boots. The main thing is not letting football clubs bear the brunt of horrific financial management of whoever the owner is at the time. Transfer fees and wages being corrected would also help. English clubs spending compared to Spain, Germany and Italy is insane. What you also have to accept though is that it still ends up with an elite few clubs who's owners have the deepest pockets. So all it would end up with is a big disparity between the richest clubs and least rich clubs. Which is what we have now anyway. -

Im quite in favour of the theory, but the implementation has been laughable really. The main bonus for us is that its stopped up making even bigger losses than we likely would have. People should be freaking out about us making a 200m loss but most people are focused on PSR Spending in English football is well out of control in the main. -
James Beeton has one of the oddest throws I've ever seen. Highlight yesterday was definitely when a game got paused because two blokes were having an argument at the bar and it was all you could hear

How did the big United v United fixture end up anyway? -
Honestly, even I'll say it, I need my hard drive checking fan girling over a 15 year old.

Has anybody ever in the history of football referred to West Ham as "United"? -
Pretty sure they agree the contract and everything if its an obligation. Its essentially a transfer but they get to delay the payment for a year. If its optional then the price is agreed, but the player isn't bound by it. So them or the buying club can opt out.

Good lord that defence
-
I think fair play to him, its usually what youd want to hear. Although it does need to be backed up now over the next run of games. 45 mins against a Sheff Utd team that had decided to set up hammocks on their 18 yard box doesnt prove anything. I also understand the reaction to it given we've seen these players let us down for 3 of the last 4 seasons and obviously theres the comparisons with Madders' comments. I think he truly believes what hes said though, hopefully it gets through to the rest of the squad and we see them putting in the same kind of shift we see from JJ most weeks.
-
If its obligation then terms would already be agreed. So it'd just be a quick flip for profit i guess
-
Don't mind the checks for corners, in fact I'd rather it be used for things that are cut and dry rather than decisions than subjective decisions. In theory it should take 5-10 seconds to view a replay and make the call. The players will still be arguing with the ref at that point anyway.

that's unfortunate, baptism of fire getting the ironic jeers from the crowd as well. He'll put it right when we play them in league one in a couple of years time I'm sure. -
Mitch Lawrie with another impressive performance, he's got potential to be insanely good when he can take this up full time and get on the tour. Posted a 97 avg tonight, first set was over 115. He only turned 15 last month as well.
-
We've literally won 6, drew 6 and lost 6. You can't get a much more even spread than that So if we apply the same logic, if you lay down some charm on Michelle Keegan 3 times, she's gonna say yes once mate! haha
-
If we recall him, its got to be because we think he has a part to play. You cant take a player from mens football and then go "ah thought you might fit in, u21s for you sorry" Feel like him and Sammy could come back and play a part to be fair. We're at a stage where the bar is so low its almost impossible for them to disappoint

Might win, might lose, might draw. Easy as that.
