Bonus? Anything out of this game would be a miracle. -
Maybe the terms of his contract with us after the loan?
-
I don't know about assists but 37 goals in 154 games whilst playing for the best team in a poor league and being the penalty taker doesn't seem to correlate to all the hype, but as I say, I don't know the player.
-
Is one in four a good record?
-
I don't know the player, but looking at his stats, the one that jumps out at me is the less than one goal every four games in the Greek league whilst playing for the best team. A bit underwhelming that. Reminds me of another time, when all the hipsters were raving about a player and telling us to ignore the stats. That player was soumare.

If everyone seems to be predicting relegation, then we should try to not lose our sh*t when it happens. I think we should give it our best shot with an eye to prepping for promotion next year, but I think that our position with a looming points deduction, imbalanced squad, lacking creativity and spending restrictions means that we likely wouldn't survive with Cooper, maresca or anyone else. We should, therefore back the team and the manager regardless and acknowledge the position we find ourselves in.
-
I had accepted that last season. Points deductions, still paying wages for duffers like Soumare, Ward and Daka, no spending power and a squad weaker than the relegated one meant, to me, that this season is about getting PL money in to help our off field troubles and plan for promotion again next year, hopefully in a stronger position. I think the rebuild will be a long term project.
-
That is legitimate criticism but we don't know if Ricardo is carrying an injury or his fitness needs to be managed, but do you honestly think that it would have been different had he started him and bought on Cannon? Our problems are much deeper than that and Cooper is on a hiding to nothing.
-
Before we talk ourselves into thinking everything would be fine if only we had kept Enzo and not got Cooper, just stop and imagine these players trying to play Maresca's way in The PL. It would have been carnage. I'm disappointed with the way we are looking, but phlegmatic. We have a weaker side (so far) than the side that got promoted and a much weaker side than the one that got relegated. We have PSR problems and impending points deduction and we are shopping in the bargain bin while potential targets are crossing the street to avoid us. This season was always gonna be a slog and we are certs to go down. I quite liked the Championship anyway.

I think we should declare when they get to three.
-
Tbf, given his history, I think there are one or two of us that don't want him here either.
-
They might be similar ages but that acl has cost Alves nearly two years of development. This guy is going to be two years ahead. That said, Alves will still get game time if he is good enough.
-
Why can't they make the obligation thing performance related? ie dependant upon 1) If we stay up and 2) Minimum 10 goals.
-
Swap deal for Soule?
-
And yet, to my knowledge, nobody has ever been able to say what it is exactly, that he is supposed to be good at.

According to google: The name Asprilla is derived from the Spanish language and has a few different meanings. It can mean "little asparagus" or "little sprout". It can also be used as a nickname for someone who is small or young We've had little cabbage (kapusta), now for little sprout. Lets bring in the whole allotment!
-
If we're looking to The Championship for a RW, is Asprilla any better than Morgan Whittaker who had many more goal contributions last year, is apparently cheaper and made the EFL team of the season ahead of Asprilla?
-
It might be honest and it might be true, but to come out and say it, unprompted, is very disrespectful not to mention downright rude. Any old club, indeed! The very cheek of it all. Does he not know who we are?
-
Surely we all saw this coming? Finances in a perilous state, still got plenty of failed signings on big wages and likely points deduction. That's why this was the least exciting promotion ever for me and Ive seen a few. Relegation is assured. I think this season is about balancing the books with that injection of pl cash to get back on an even keel.
-
Apparently Celtic are after a striker. Daka as a make weight? Surely he'd score a hateful up there.
-
Kasper playing a blinder apparently.
-
He's also forgotten Darren Eadie, Tony Spearing and Mark Robins. Hmm... all of a sudden I've gone off the idea.
-
I for one wish him every success at Roma. No, really, I do. Honest.
-
I think you could add Faes and Souttar to those two and I'm not too sure about Okoli.
-
I think the issue is that he doesn't earn it.
