Tonight evidenced what Galatasaray fans were saying about him, there is a lot to like, until the end product. His attitude and effort are spot on.

Could have done with Winks here for extra time. One of Praet, Hamza or Akgun will likely play Saturday and they'll all probably do 120 mins.. -
Absolutely ridiculous game. We should have been home and hosed after 70 minutes but woeful finishing and officiating has cost us. We played really well for the most part, but the mentality will rightly, and absolutely be questioned after that.

This game should be done and dusted

Thought we were good for 30 mins, then last 15 we started to make silly errors in possession, which Leeds will punish eventually. Daka, KDH and Vestergaard all excellent, rest of backline a bit worrying at times. Huge 2nd half coming up. We cannot just sit back and concede the initiative as we won't hold out. Hopefully Maresca has learned from other games and we don't take our outlets and threats off.

What an absolute pillock Pawson is

Penalty to Rotherham

Saints get given 6 mins.

Hull should be 4-0 up. They're battering Southampton
-
I don't subscribe to the view some have that promotion challengers winning games is a good thing because it pressures other promotion challengers. If Southampton drop points it's very good news for us as far as I'm concerned.
-
Ipswich were always going to dispose of Rotherham at home. If Hull can take any points off Southampton it's a decent night for us irrespective of Ipswich.

I agree. Our full backs and deeper midfielders would have expended more energy 2nd half sprinting back towards our own goal multiple times. One of the main points of our methodical style is to tire the opposition by keeping the ball, maintaining our own energy levels, and completely take over the game in the late stages. We didn't "game manage" the second half particularly well because we didn't keep the ball well enough against a more effective press, Bannan took over the midfield after we totally dominated that area first half, and the back 4 got turned on several occasions with balls in behind the full backs. -
It's a bit strange that he has sat on the bench for 180 mins immediately after arguably his most positive contributions. Lends weight to the theory we don't want to trigger an appearance clause. Having said that, maybe Enzo thinks KDH and Yunus as the 8's wouldn't be a particularly balanced combination.
-
Not a particularly convincing performance. Not for the first time this season we've struggled to wrestle back control in a game when it gets a bit fraught and aside from the 2nd goal, our use of the ball was sub standard all game. Still an important win, and we will need to keep our foot on the gas given Southampton and Leeds's form.

KDH been stinking today.
-
His qualities are all off the ball. Intelligence, positioning, timing of runs and defensive discipline. On the ball he is lacking.
-
Not great, need more from the wingers and KDH. Haven't shown enough quality on the occasions we've attacked in transition. Having said that we've look comfortable enough at the back, but think we'll need to up it a level 2nd half.
-
Both wingers been crap so far
-
Goalkeeper slow across to that

Best goal you've seen scored against us

It doesn't look as good watching it back on TV as it did live in the stadium, but Victor Camarasa for Cardiff back in 18/19 was a cracker (injury time winner as well). I was right behind the shot and it looked like it was going miles over the bar, then just watched in horror as it started to dip towards the top corner. -
Not so sure on that, on first glance it looked like the classic cynical trip to stop a break, but the reverse angle showed it was studs onto the Achilles. Red probably fair enough having seen that.
