  1. I reckon they’ve got two offers on the table which have been accepted. They’re coming to the UK to meet with both representatives and find out which deal is best suited to the player and his agent. All of these snaps are just to hype up fans. Reckon we’ll know more by Weds next week when he’s had a chance to speak with both clubs and seen what they have to offer in terms of salary, bonuses, squad security etc. But maybe that’s all just too logical...
  2. The Evening Standard said the reason he wanted to leave was for Champions League football. Also sounded like Palace were willing to make him highest paid in their squad, over £120K per week!
  3. Got a photo of him saying bye.
  4. I mean is this not obvious. Player wants to leave. City will pay whatever wages he wants. The ball is surely with the owners to decide a price, if any. He cannot twist the owner's arms, with respect to any gentlemanly arrangements. Fundamentally it'll be up to our owners to agree if he can go or not, not the player.
  5. Have a feeling he'll go for £70m, and we'll get in Hatem Ben Arfa who we have on a back burner. Not 14 seconds late...
  6. There's no way any professional football institution could get it that badly wrong, surely...
  7. It could be oh so worse. He's not here on his reputation alone. He's a massive part of our success given how peppered our goal mouth gets at times. He keeps us in games with one on ones, once or twice a game. Yes he's prone to a free kick at the moment but please let's not overreact and say we need a new keeper.
  8. For me the only glaring miss was the Smalling climbing all over Maguire incident. From the camera angle he had a perfect view of Harry being impeded from jumping. I mean, it wasn't a clear denial of a goal scoring opportunity, but anywhere else on the pitch and that would've been a free kick all day long. Think a lot of people have that West Ham game long in the memory, and rightly so. Probably shouldn't have been given a Leicester fixture since that debacle.
  9. Sorry Babs I like your posts on here, you're not an idiot and I respect your opinion . - that being said, I still stand by the fact giving the circumstances it was unnecessary to post on a rival teams' board, who are praising us, telling us how good we've been all season, and then rubbishing the only remotely disparaging remark, which really isn't said with any venom, and then creating a sense of animosity. People don't know the ins and outs of other people's clubs, generally, and even though in the past year or so we've certainly not waved our capital power around as much, people will remember the season we spent £15mish building a super squad. And you can't deny the fact, even with Pearson's current squad, our spending to fund it has been above and beyond what an averagely funded Championship team, including Burnley, could afford to assemble. Most of us know our current gems of the team - DD, James, Knockaert, Mahrez et al. cost only a fraction of what people might envisage we paid for them, but the fact remains that they were signed for fairly hefty sums for the majority of second tier football. As much as you could argue it is unjust for people to have a dig at us about our expenditure, I can certainly see where people are coming from; especially, as I mentioned, because the average Championship fan knows little or nothing about other club's financial doings. Anyway, you're pretty spot on most of the time on this board. And we're up
  10. Whoever Babsy is, you're an idiot. Don't go onto someone else's forum who are singing our praises and then go and knock them down about financial fair play! Especially when we HAVE spent the cash over the years, even if our wage bill now isn't quite the same eye sore. ;-)
  11. Can we get this started when Wasyl is back in action?
  12. Thanks a lot. That's the one.
  13. Embarassing, but does anyone have the lyrics to the song which goes something like "bring on the Arsenal... something something Real Madrid, something something Barca." All straws fully clutched here but heard it at Miillllll for the first time and quite liked it.
  14. It's quite interesting to read that Cardiff fans said this game made them realise "how bad they looked". This was one of our poorer performances, to be honest... kind of says a lot.
  15. http://www.cardiffcityforum.co.uk/viewtopic.php?f=2&t=102669 -Cardiff, post 'Boro game.
  16. Booked Danns. He's a ****. This guy goes in my book, for being an absolute bellend.
  17. At least he's consistent... ...consistently shit.
  18. Ian Stringer @StringerSport Reply Retweet Favorite · Open RT @its_benji: I'm watching this and Im thinking are the FA recruiting refs from the street? absolute ridiculous decisions 1st half #lcfc Stringer ^^
  19. I think this ref is having an objectively bad game. He's pissed both sides off and for good reason. Absolute shocker. There's one thing being strict, but you can't just give free kicks left right and centre and then not book players. That seems to be his logic at the minute.
  20. Spurs do it incredibly. Best chant ever when done well.
  21. Let's pretend, let's pretend, let's pretend we've scored a goal! *5 seconds later* Ooooh...... YEEAAAAAHHHHHHHHH!
