Nah, it's a French accent. I suspect the doc is telling someone who helps Fofana with his English what he's been given.

Source, sorry:

Tanner said that Lookman will most likely be done tomorrow

Probably had a gentleman’s agreement with Top I’d imagine, given how “good bye-y” he was at the end

Pogba is supposedly moving away from United this summer, could certainly be an option for them. I really hope an offer from abroad comes in. Everything I’ve seen points towards an exit.

Schmeichel’s kicking was painful today. -
Very fair points. I think you’re right, this Spurs side is much a walking corpse at the moment. They have massively underachieved and I’m sure given a club with their fan base and stature, they’d expect more. Moreover they’re painfully boring to watch and rely on sparks of magic from their two world class players, and if they don’t produce, Spurs don’t turn up. I would hope his ambitions would lie above Spurs, but if he felt his stock was as high as it was going to be, he might fancy cashing in and taking a project where make Spurs worse would be very, very difficult. And I’m sure if he were to leave to Spurs in particular, he would want to be guaranteed funds and probably would try and nick a couple of our boys (faaaark off). I would be very disappointed to see BR leave us for Spurs, as I think there are many positives for him staying here - the players are clearly benefitting, and he is doing great too. I just hope he sees the benefit of flying under the radar for the... indefinite... future. But certainly if we get top 4, his name will be touted about for “bigger” clubs next season.

I mean in the eyes of many Spurs are a big club. As Brendan has always alluded to and made very clear, we cannot compete with “the Big 6” financially. They have a billion pound stadium. Sure they’re struggling at the minute, but if Levy says that he’ll back Brendan on a 5 year deal, do you not think he will consider this? Coming from Mourinho, he’s only going to be an improvement. Especially if he can get a tune out of Kane and Son. I’m not saying this because I want to, my friend posed it to me as Mourinho seems on the ropes at Tottenham and, at the minute, there aren’t many better in form managers than BR.

If Spurs are to sack Mourinho, should we worry about them going after King Brendan?

Does anyone know when we will start selling memberships again? This long football-less period has really made me aware that I'd like to get to more football games when I can, and I guess a membership is the first step to being able to achieve this...

Left wing, replacement for Gray? Yes please. This would be a fantastic signing!
-
I hope it is just a loan. People have short memories that he was actually decent for us last season. Definitely has a clanger of a horrendous tackle in him, but many teams are desperate to have “a bit of nastiness” in their team (see: Spurs signing Hojberg). Hopefully starting regularly in a Premier League team will allow him to grow as a player and iron out these issues. We never know who will be sold in the next transfer window, let’s not get ahead of ourselves.
-
I think we should make a bid on Toney, see who Brentford try and sign as a replacement and then gazump them for that player instead...
-
Seem to remember a certain Ricardo being absolutely bullied in his first few games for us. Think this will be great, right footer will compliment Barnes' left foot on the overlap. Makes sense to me. EDIT: That is a Ricardo Peirera, not the much forgotten goalkeeper...
-
No truth in this at the minute, then? In terms of an £80m offer?
-
Are you a lemon Rowntree? Cos you seem quite bitter.

For people complaining about price, Top is a business man. If he Is told even a player who might not be a starter but will contribute to us breaking into Europe, he will pay the price. Football is a business game now, don’t forget this. Don’t worry about us spending money, because I can sure as hell bet the Newcastle/Arsenal/other team who are starved for transfer funds wouldn’t worry if they had a war chest to play around with. anyway, Perez seems to be a great singing. Fits the bill of “giving it all for the shirt”, which we all love. If he can stump up more goals and assists for us, he’ll be a fans favourite from the get go. Big, exciting season ahead!
-
Peoples expectations are just insane. We literally have a squad which has 5/11 players that most United fans would have in their combined XIs, and yet if we start the season as such, people say they’d feel disappointed. Totally crackers.

I'd be interested to see the comparison of results when you post these a few days late vs on the same day. I don't think anyone watching the game would've given anyone other than Maguire above a 7 if you'd asked directly after that game! -
Dutch paper are reporting tomorrow that a €25m deal has been agreed with Brighton... http://www.football-oranje.com/az-to-receive-record-fee-as-jahanbakhsh-heads-for-brighton/

It is probably to do with work visa. The UK visa office is not far from there and players have to leave and re-enter the country for a visa to be effective. So possibly that...

As it's the opera house, I am hopeful that he'll sing...

Players are required to leave the UK before re-entering for work visa purposes - this is likely the reason in my opinion...? Or it is a complete red herring.
