  2. Some Strasbourg fans not happy being underdog owners to Chelsea but other fans happy to ride with the success on the pitch although will that last with Gary O'Neal coming in. Dual Ownership not all good. https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/articles/c4g49xrjnxno Some Strasbourg supporters have never accepted BlueCo. The club's ultras stay silent for the first 15 minutes of every match in protest. It reflects the opinion of a not-so-vocal minority. L'Equipe has reported, external how other supporters, attracted by the new signings and the team's style of play, have booed the ultras. But for the ultras, Rosenior's move to Stamford Bridge reinforces their stance.

  8. ....and yet delaying paying people for a week seemingly does make a difference assuming it's a cashflow issue.
  9. I'd have thought there were a lot of ways to raise revenue if cash flow is a problem. We could add to the income from kit advertising, plenty of EFL have extra ads on their shirts and shorts. There must be savings they could make at Seagrave, put some of the pitches on hold and reduce the ground staff, and there must be other areas there that could be cut back. I just don't see much in the way of reducing costs going on if things are as bad as some are saying sure things are good but desperate?

Here I go again Watch it now 'cause Here I go again I've been hurt so much before I told myself, yes I did No more, no more won't get hurt any more There I was out by myself Doin' all right Until I saw you last night And then I knew that here I go again I cannot help it Here I go again Making the same mistakes Heading for more heartaches What can I do when there's nothing I can do I looked in your eyes and I knew that I was blue What's the use, I'll just give in Try as I may and I do I'll never win, never win, baby I'll never win Now you're here, so close to me I can't resist you and I knew when I kissed you I'm gonna sing now Here I go again Watch it now 'cause Here I go again Falling in love, in love Falling in love, in love Falling in love, in love Falling in love Source: LyricFind Songwriters: Philip Parris Lynott Here I Go Again lyrics © Universal Music Publishing Group, Warner/Chappell Music, Inc
  15. From Foxes Trust Reform Chat Mike Whalley | Jon West Thursday January 01 2026, 10.30pm, The Times Martí Cifuentes may look like a man on borrowed time, but it hardly seems to matter. It would take more than a change of manager to sort out the mess Leicester City are in. On and off the pitch they are in trouble wherever you look: fans seem unsure whether to direct rage at the board, Cifuentes or the players. As a woeful performance led to a 3-1 defeat against Sheffield United at Bramall Lane, they voiced anger at all three. For the club hierarchy, there was a chant of: “Sack the board.” For Cifuentes, there was a chant of: “You’re getting sacked in the morning.” For the players, there was visible frustration from the away support at full-time. The statistics were damning, and yet still not damning enough. Leicester have long been a team with defensive weaknesses, and their run without a clean sheet was extended to 19 matches as Japhet Tanganga headed in his first Sheffield United goal nine minutes before half-time, with Tom Cannon and Callum O’Hare scoring in the second half. Other numbers illustrated Leicester’s ineptitude more starkly. With an hour gone, their expected goals total was 0.02, and it was tempting to wonder if it might slip into the negative. In that first hour, they managed one shot and earned one corner. When Jeremy Monga, their lively 16-year-old substitute, managed three touches in a row inside the home penalty area shortly after coming on, it was worthy of note. His team-mates had managed just two between them in the previous 68 minutes. It was a genuine surprise to look at the league table afterwards and see that Leicester were as high as 13th. “It was a poor performance,” Cifuentes said. “In the Championship, you need to run, you need to win your duels. We didn’t.” When Jordan James drove in Leicester’s goal, two minutes into added time, the game long lost, there was not a flicker of celebration. As Cifuentes put it: “Well, when you score in the 92nd minute and you’re losing 3-0, there is not much to celebrate, right?” There is not much to celebrate for Leicester full stop. They are waiting to find out if they will receive a points deduction for alleged breaches of Profitability and Sustainability Rules, while fan anger has reached such a level that there are plans for a boycott of Monday’s home game against West Bromwich Albion. Sheffield United, despite being two points and two places below Leicester, are in a happier state of mind. Tanganga, their captain, signed from Millwall for an initial £7million in August, headed in Sam McCallum’s corner to put them ahead, having gone the whole of 2025 without scoring. Cannon swept in from a fine cutback by Andre Brooks to score against a former club for the second time in four days, having also done so in last Monday’s victory at Stoke City. O’Hare turned in Femi Seriki’s low cross to make it 3-0 with two minutes left. “If you win races and headers and tackles, then the ball falls to you a little bit more than it falls to the opposition, and it did,” Chris Wilder, the manager, said.

  21. Problem with Cardiff is they're sitting comfortably at the top of the league 3points clear and a game in hand so their midfield is going to be almost impossible to displace so he's very unlikely to get much game time just last minutes subs at most.
