  1. all the intensity of 6 pints pre match
  2. ricardo is absolutely past it, serious club would have sold him two years ago
  3. workrate is absymal, like they just can't be arsed
  4. what does this bloke do all day?
  5. you could argue the exact opposite, that if he's not looking like recouping enough on his investment, he'll just squat on it until someone would pay what he wants
  6. it's a must win, and I don't think we've won a must win game in a decade
  7. gifted two opportunities but still has to finish them (and be alert enough to get them to start with, can guarantee Ayew gets near neither of them). It's criticism of the creativity behind him but he had to react to get the chances and took them well, the defending is irrelevant there.
  8. over Mavididi, who has delivered nothing given far more playing time than Monga. Monga has been underwhelming but his plenty of chances has been off the bench for 10 minutes at a time
  9. would have preferred monga over mavididi given stephys form is abysmal, but with the injury to JJ, about the best we can put out. stunning signing Aribo, get rid of Soumare and then bring in his Temu equivalent
  10. not sure why anyone would prefer Oxford if either win, Portsmouths run in is rancid, I'd fancy Oxford to get out of it more than them
  11. I think you're missing the point of cults and how they function tbh, the moment things don't go the cults way it's because of enemies outside, in this case the protestors, the EFL/PL... It's never the responsibility of the leaders. They will absolutely keep blaming the EFL and PL as long as the club keeps telling them that those bodies are at fault, nothing to do with us guv
  12. honestly it's not, there's a lot who are still KP in and were fans before 2010. The issue is not being able to disconnect the present from the recent past and Aiyawatt from Vichai. They're looking at king powers ownership coinciding with a great period of success, fa cup, title, a first ever CL campaign, and can't see that this is not the same ownership currently that delivered that.
  13. waste of time, that ref was never sending a single one of them off. completely enamoured by the "Leicester going down" narrative and our fanbase and players too meek to put the pressure on to make him do his job properly
  14. first time that Lincoln City will be the highest placed LCFC since we became LCFC ( last finished higher than us when we were still Leicester Fosse). below a team next season who haven't finished above us since one of the inventors of the television (Philo Farnsworth) was born, let alone since the advent of televised football, but back in our natural position right KPFC fans?
  15. not convinced. Regardless of what happens over the next six games, he cannot get the job permanently
  16. I get that they can't take account of the player, but fundamentally the spirit of the law is that you can't commit a deliberate act of foul play to reduce the chance you concede (take DOGSO for penalties, if there's no attempt to play the ball it's still a red card). Deliberate acts of foul play to change who has a chance, or to turn a 2 v 1 into a 1 v 1, with the intent of reducing the chance you concede, like that foul on daka, violates the spirit of the law. If the letter of the law doesn't allow the spirit to be enforced then it's a badly written law and needs changing asap.
  17. deliberately taking out the striker so it's a dcm going through instead feels like definite cheating that deserves greater punishment than a yellow for me, but that is a very subjective thing to try and judge - like of the Jordans, you'd rather James than Ayew get a similar chance.
  18. yes, you were wrong, unless you're claiming he was going to ignore the ball and continue across the pitch, he was not taking the ball towards the corner flag, he was running in behind and gets fouled to stop the 1 v 1 (see how far away the covering defenders are). If Skipp doesn't get on that, it's definitely denial of a clear goal scoring opportunity. Can argue that playing on is fine as it does break to a Leicester player, and Skipp should have stopped and let it run for the red instead, but it's a deliberate foul to stop Daka being through on goal.
  19. right, which way is the ball going? you can't seriously think that he's taking it in the direction of the corner flag just because he's come from further central to get on the ball.
  20. form he's been in for the academy and he would have scored that chance, because it's entirely, get a touch and it's a goal. But you need to be the sort of striker who gets in that position
  21. where exactly do you think the corner flag is, because he's running in the direction of goal, direct course with the keeper before he gets taken out. Breaks to Skipp but there's no attempt by the defender to challenge for the ball, it's entirely to stop Daka getting 1v1
  22. not his worst ever game but his lack of a strikers instinct is killing us. just after he came on there was some lovely link up play between reid, Fatawu and Ricardo, reid flashed a cross along the six yard box which is absolutely perfect, sort of thing any striker takes full advantage of, sort of thing albrighton kept putting on a plate for vardy. Ayew was loitering barely in the box, behind both centre backs. Gambles and that's the winner. relegation isn't done in single moments but that will epitomise why we go, if we do
  23. gifted the chances but still a lot of work to do in each. confidence will be right up, has to play every minute he's fit for, because if he's on the pitch for me he gets a hattrick with that cross flashed across moments after he came off that Ayew didn't even more for
