  1. I mean, it's something different to Ayew and Silko did do well Monday evening, but if it's that dire, why are we not trying out some of the bigger prospects who are ripping it up at u21s. Surely we benefit more from getting Hutchinson or Evans blooded more than another McAteer type technically limited grafter. (also, how much longer does Mav have to be out of form before Monga gets the starts instead?)
  2. he could. What I mean is if we bring him back, play him a couple of times and decide he's not quite championship level, he could only stay here or go back to Newport
  3. if he comes back and plays, he can only go back on loan to Newport. Can't play for more than 2 teams in a season
  4. it's already well known that the "attendance" is tickets sold and is irrespective of whether season ticket holder turn up
  5. tbf, it is from the victorian era. Fashion standards have changed a fair bit since.
  6. I'd aruge that backing isn't just how much you spend but the extent to which you agree a plan with a manager and recruit to fit. Chelseas recruitment is kid in a sweetshop level of scattergun, no-one is backed there, they're just foisted with whatever random player Boehly found that week.
  7. and yet if I had the money to buy Forest for the purpose of running them into the ground, there's nothing Aiyawatt has done that I wouldn't copy.
  8. exactly this. like, if they'd sold in 2019 after the crash and new owners had overseen this collapse, they'd be reviled. People give Aiyawatt credit because of what his father did, and while there was some patience and goodwill considering the circumstances in which he became in charge, that has to have gone now.
  9. "we all understand Rudkin out but Top and king power" is hilarious. Like, who do you think is keeping Rudkin in a job lads
  10. exact same with Cov - Won 7, Drawn 3, lost 0. This season was the first time they've kept a clean sheet here
  11. and many would argue that motivating the team and fixing those mental fragilities is part of the managers job
  12. even in that case, this squad is comfortably good enough to be playoff contenders, look at the dross in this division
  13. Didn't go to that one because I was at a christmas party in the evening, but there definitely were v stoke, which is what you referenced to start with
  14. It really doesn't, because i can still hear it from SK2. There's less joining in from the rest of the area but the rudkin out chants from the core set of fans are not result dependant.
  15. Its every game that there's chants for him to be sacked, how is it results dependant?
  16. hey now, Nils Eric Johansson played more than 10 games.
  17. played very well. quite happy to rotate him and Bobby Reid
  18. I'd sooner start him up front than Ayew or Carranza. not convincing but he did lead a stronger press with Page than Ayew and Reid
  19. so tired of him sitting us right back and defending a one goal lead for 40+ minutes. what happened to the expansive attacking coach he claimed to be pre season
  20. legs tangled with their defender as they went for a through ball, he limped away and just went down like 10 seconds later
  21. two bald men fighting over a comb that. kids had a lot more fight than the supposed senior pros mind - page was battling every time and Silko posed at least as much of an outlet as ayew
  22. monga and page coming on
  23. Ramsey down injured after a minute...
  24. silko Thomas up top and showing far more movement than Ayew
