  1. Ward doing his best to try and get it in the wrexham net there
  2. No they're not? They're tied on points, goal difference, goals scored and head to head, so birmingham will be ahead on alphabet
  3. Southampton are a bit shit huh. Like it's Ward in goal, just pelt shots at him
  4. and here comes the 100th minute winner
  5. jammy freaks are back
  6. Lol get ****ed ipswich
  7. God I forgot how bad championship refs are
  8. nothing in that at all
  9. i mean to enter parliament it seems like you have to have your spine surgically removed so I'm not surprised
  10. does it? Like, labour have not been a left wing party since 2020, honestly you could very much argue that 2015-2019 aside, they haven't been in over 30 years.
  11. honestly i don't think it should be surprising. there's that old 4chan screenshot which is an absolute eviceration of the potter books as works of literature, the core premise of which is that her worldview is completely hollow and insubstantial, a belief that all systems are good and it's just the people in charge of them that cause problems. You're naturally disposed towards opposing minorities with that worldview because minorities are saying the systems are deeply flawed and cannot be reformed by putting good people in charge, and having no core moral beliefs leaves you very vulnerable to propaganda, even more so if you're richer than god and not used to people saying no to you. the only question really was whether it'd be refugees/immigrants, Jews or trans people that she'd end up hating. There's also the reanalysis of her books and the low level bigotry in them but I'm reticent to say she was always incredibly hateful and more just a lot of the general views of the 80s/90s and a combination of a desire to be liked but not much knowledge (the werewolves are problematic if taken as a HIV allegory given one of them preys on and deliberately infects kids, which was a homophobic trope of the 80s, but it never seemed written as such, more just her fishing for cred after the series ended, like with Dumbledore being gay)
  12. I wouldn't call it to my irritation so much as fear, given that psychopath is using her wealth to try and make it impossible for me to exist in public (at least when it finally reaches the ECtHR the UK will be told to grow the **** up), but I do appreciate the far right eating themselves over this. If I had more faith in the UK I'd say the point where you're calling Farage woke because his party had a rare correct take of "maybe we should have a duty of care to prisoners and not knowingly facilitate prison rape", is the point where people stop listening to you and pretending you're not a violent bigot but I'm not going to pretend the UK is decent enough to do that.
  13. https://www.thelondoneconomic.com/lifestyle/jk-rowling-suggests-nigel-farage-is-woke-396373/ heartwarming, all the worst people you know are fighting.
  14. Tbh I think you're missing a key aspect of this, which is that a chunk of those who hate the concept of refugees and asylum also believe in the just world idea, so if your home is rubble, you have no work, water or crops and are getting raided by militias, you must have done something to deserve it
  15. as in you can prove he touched a premier league pitch perhaps
  16. Ricardo would be a shoe-in if he wasn't made of digestives. I know Hamzas experienced but I feel like the drink driving should be a disqualification for this as well. Just not someone with a lazy or want-away attitude please.
  17. he's really not, they ran a generic ass ad campaign. This is literally just a bunch of crybabies complaining about seeing ethnic minorities, and anyone who is genuinely opposed to the Jaguar ad should follow their bible: "if thine own eye offends you, pluck it out"
  18. Like, ignoring the whole "making it clear that the American Eagle ad was a dogwhistle" stuff, how are they still mad at Bud Light giving one pack of cans to Dylan Mulvaney 2 years ago? Like, my god, you'd think she went and shat in every hole at Mar-a-Lago with this level of obsessed.
  19. Hopefully nowhere near leicester for the next 2 years.
  20. Depends. Cooper was wasting him, would Ruud have played him over the grandads army?
  21. I just don't see where the goals are coming from. I'd be inclined to stick Kasey Mac up top with no other signings, he's got vardys energy at least. Can then also be a bit more fluid with Mav coming in to be a false 9 at times.
  22. Lets be honest, it's not gonna be that, it's gonna be that, baring any massive stinkers/great cameos today, or injuries in training this week, this is the starting line up v Wednesday. And ok, there's something of a nice structure there but it still needs 4 massive changes (Nelson for Vestegaard, McAteer for Ayew, anyone for shit and shitter in the double pivot)
  23. ****ing Ayew, skipp and soumare...
  24. I mean if you want a very left field shout for root cause: Operation Paperclip and it's counterparts. By allowing fascists to integrate back into society after WWII, rather than inviting them to the local esso petrol station, the groundwork was set for a fash comeback - they bided their time, consolidated their power and came back which they were always going to do because the marketplace of ideas doesn't exist and you can't conclusively defeat someone in it
