  1. because he'd just got back into the side... Why does every single comment need to be looked at for some sort of agenda?
  2. that bullshit, if you have a contract then simply put you can just say no to the offer from the other club and stay where you are
  3. just because they are available doesn't mean they'd want the job, a lot of managers don't want to walk into a relegation battle midseason
  4. people kept saying Ipswich's luck would run out last season with all their late goals, it never did. Like it or not Cooper is doing exactly what the board hired him to do, keep us up, as others have said unless both our form nosedives and others start performing we will keep averaging around a point per game which has been enough to stay up for the last few years. I think some of you think we're still a top 8 side, our squad really isn't that great we are about where we should be in terms of quality IMO. I think should we stay up an new manager comes in and we invest as much as we can, if not a new manager will come in and we'll rebuild again like we did with Enzo, either way I think Cooper is a 1 and done manager with us
  5. well we had to take Mace out of our midfield to play as the striker and now using Cayman who would be part of the build up, just having a focal point will help, someone the players know is a proper striker will lift them and give better options to progress
  6. in PSR terms he's books at about £2m a year so its not a lot, loaning him out also bags a loan fee and at least a percentage of his wages off the books for hte rest of the season, which all helps
  7. going off the Northampton game he's a class above league one but still well off the level needed for the prem, I would like to know why the loan didn't happen in the last window but people that have been annoyed he's not playing for the first team this season are jumping the gun
  8. he hasn't been playing BDCR that much
  9. probably help if he was used central too not as a winger like against Northampton
  10. left out of the England U20s squad as well
  11. been injured played for the U21s at Northampton this week
  12. yeah OPA probably just made a mistake, pretty sure they talked about him having an ankle op in pre season
  13. so you want to sack a manager that has shown he can get a side promoted AND keep them up, for one that hasn't done either despite being around far longer? Whilst I disagree I can see why people want Cooper gone but to actually suggest Robins is just dumb
  14. at least its not another knee injury
  15. subs just before the hour, Evans for Golding and Wormleighton off for Monga
  16. he was still very highly rated, to be fair to him he's playing in a wide role tonight, might not be his best fit
  17. Northampton score from a corner
  18. yeah clearly above League 1 level, I'd like to see Golding showing the same given what we signed him for
  19. I like the look of Aluko playing the attacking full back told with Wormleighton staying home
  20. good to see Golding back, Wormleighton needs a big few games to try and push into the first team squad, given our need for more full backs
  21. he's not going Forest he's taking a role like Klopp is taking for RedBull
  22. surely Arsenal will be keen for a title winning DOF like Rudkin ....
  23. if he does it's win win not just the fee his wages off the books helps, probably means we can sign a better striker
  24. is Michael Golding injured?
