  1. does it really matter which of Coady or Vestergaard is on the bench?
  2. Mace playing as the striker doing a decent job in the build up but no chances created yet, is Draper still on international duty?
  3. is Cover being played in midfield or at full back?
  4. Sammy Braybrooke has been called up to the U20s due as an injury replacement
  5. depends who it is, our owners have been very good for us for a long time, if there was a Leicester supporting Tony Bloom great, but a Hicks & Gillette type owners would be a disaster
  6. very weak discipline? in what sense?
  7. even you don't believe that ...
  8. exactly but people want to believe anything bad, so people are making up shite about bust ups
  9. we started 1 number 10 and had a second on the bench, we weren't going to have a 3rd in the squad
  10. its a quirk of injuries this ended, Hamza would have been there, Stolarczyk probably would still be number 2 but for his ankle op, the only academy player I thought might have been in the squad last weekend was McAteer and we had 2 wingers and a 10 on the bench without him
  11. because if Cooper has had a bust up with Ricardo he wouldn't be captaining the league cup side, if he'd decided to punish Winks for a group of players coming to him he wouldn't have been in the squad at all, when managers and players have bust ups the player vanishes they don't simply get dropped to the bench
  12. With the wing back, its more the intensity of the role that the amount of running, I would bet Riccy didn't to a lot of sprinting last season as it wasn't required for example. Vestergaard is injured, even if he wasn't Okoli has come in and been superb if he was fit would you have him over either of the current starting CBs? Winks has been poor this season so far, I said to friends leaving the Everton game he could be dropped soon for Skipp, Winks wasn't good at Arsenal and was dropped for the next game I think its as simple as that, people are looking for a scandal that isn't there. There are footballing reasons for the decisions that have been taken, a lot of people don't agree which is fine but the bullshit about player bust ups with the manager being made up to try and turn other fans against the manager is pathetic.
  13. Riccy has been captain in both cupboard games
  14. He started all those games in a less physically demanding role than the one JJ is playing at RB, with his age and injury history I don't think he can play that role now sadly, a prine Riccy would beade for it
  15. a couple of hamstring strains where he missed a game or 2 and don't forget Enzo would rotate a lot which would have helped and that was without the physical load of being a wing back
  16. he was getting muscle injuries last season I don't think he can race up and down the wing anymore but yes he could and should have been used off the bench
  17. he still got hamstring injuries last season in a much less physically demanding role than the one we are asking of JJ of late, if we had the Ricardo pre injury there is no doubt in my mind he'd be in the team but sadly I think age and injuries have changed how he has to play, I'd be looking at him as an option at 6 more than FB so long as we are asking the RB to be more of a wing back. He should have been used more off the bench though to close out games even to defend on the right wing in front of JJ.
  18. also do people not remember Justin playing on the left all last season and completely refusing to use his left foot making us lopsided? we have so much more balance to us with a left footer there and he is building a good understanding with Stephy. I'd like him to be more aggressive with his passing but that was the same with a lot of the squad and even the same last season, its a modern football thing, players get hammered for their passing stats so get drilled into them about the percentages and end up turning down the attacking pass.
  19. she posted a pic of him on her Insta stories a few weeks back when they were out walking, that's all she posted that I saw
  20. it wasn't just about that it was also the cost of getting Potter's staff out of Chelsea and possibly his wages that affected that and the cost of getting Corboran and his staff out of WBA as we needed to make sure we didn't breach FFP for last season
  21. Such as who? If Cooper left right now who is better that is available? We tried to get Potter and could get it done. Moyse? I'd bet he'd keep us up but those moaning about Cooper's tactics would hate Moyes. I'm genuinely asking, I have no attachment to Cooper if we could get a better manager I'd do it tomorrow I'm just not convinced we can
  22. he has similar level shot stopping abilities with much better distribution, he will never achieve what Kasper did here but that's a different issue
  23. The drop off from the first 2 games is stark, their level is higher than this it's very disappointing
  24. I think Thibaut needs dropping, Tierney unusually poor, I like Missy Goodwin but she struggles for impact when starting games. Cayman is quality but not sure she can show it at left back
  25. Oh look a Palace player fell over and the whistle blew, again...
