The bookies have us coming 7th which I can only conclude is a pretty nailed on points deduction. They deem us less likely to be promoted than Birmingham, Middlesbrough and Coventry. We really have inflicted the most self-imposed, unnecessary decline ever. Never seen anything like it.

I do think things are very different. Things would've caught up with Aiyawatt and Rudkin eventually but we accelerated the decline enormously by allowing Rodgers to tank us into the Championship.

I think it's quite clear reading between the lines it's going to be him. There is just no respite whatsoever here is there? We just lurch from one depressing situation to another nowadays. You can barely believe what's playing out when you really lay things bare. They serve up the biggest **** you to the fans in a season they could've possibly served up and their response is going to be to appoint another extremely unpopular manager with the fanbase for the second year running. A manager who is not popular nor that likely to be a success. It's just utterly preposterous. Insulting. You couldn't really make a case for why he'd be doing this but it's so bad that it feels almost deliberate.

It feels like we're still going through the gears when it comes to the ineptness on show at LCFC. Like even as little as two years ago I think he'd be out of the door by now. It's like nobody at the club can even be arsed.

He's possibly the worst manager we've ever had but this is a far bigger issue than him. If I was owner of Forest and I ran them this badly I would probably assume I'd made it too obvious. Said a while ago Aiyawatt is worse at this than Ashley is. Ashley's just overly pragmatic. Aiyawatt hasn't got a clue.

Yeah absolutely steer the **** clear Leicester. I think my problem is that I don't think he'd ever be more than two games away from being on the end of absolute headloss. Likely from myself.

I'm no lover of Tottenham at all and did not want them to win it but you know what, if Tottenham were going to win a trophy, that was a pretty good way to do it. A genuine rabble Spurs side beating United in a final. An absolute mare for United and Arsenal fans - that's normally always a good sign. Fair play to Postecoglou - a mad statement to make when managing a club on a trophy draught and completely backed it up. Showed real pragmatism during all of this run as well. Fair play to the bloke. Plenty eating their words - myself included.

This was fair two years ago. It's pretty clear it's not going to change. That is part of the unaccountability. I can deal with mistakes. I can't deal with tolerance of mistakes and expectation that we're meant to accept it. That's what happens here now. That's his legacy. Appointing Martin would be hilarious in some ways. Just another nail in the coffin.

I don't think it'll ever quite get to that level, but you do wonder really. I think a lot of the circumstances are there: - Owner has demonstrably not got a clue what he's doing. Even those who had more goodwill and credit in the bank than me must concede this to be the case now. - The club demonstrate no accountability. Nobody other than the manager pays with their job and even then they often get way too big an opportunity. - We're talking to Martin and Dyche? Clearly despite this unaccountability, despite the mess, those involved aren't even remotely on the same page. - Continuously breaking financial rules. - Consistently making poor signings. - The fans have for the most part given the owner a free pass to do all of this. The dissent is growing, but not anywhere near enough. If an independant owner had taken over in 2019 and served this up, I think at least 90% of the ground would want them gone. It's a genuinely damaging set of circumstances. It's not a tricky period, it's continuous decline and nothing is being done to stop it. Aiyawatt simply has got to go. He's totally out of his depth.

Part of me thinks this all being briefed is so that people take Dyche.

Maresca was better than Martin. He's hammered him on every meeting.
