  1. Portsmouth are pretty rubbish, but find this pretty striking. Trailing all second half, Portsmouth had 17 shots tonight. Leicester against QPR, trailing basically all half, we had 4. As bad as they are, we're a lot worse.
  2. How can people not spot he's joking there. Probably the facebook lot actually.
  3. You know how certain results just happen quite frequently like a 2-2 draw at Stoke. Well Watford 2-1 Leicester has happened many times before and it will happen again.
  4. Said at the time it was a red flag. As unconvincing a win as you can possibly have. Needed them to go down to 10 men and tire (after not playing a friendly all summer) to beat them. Utterly rubbish showing.
  5. The worst weekend of the season by a mile. Had the single best fixture comfortably, lost it comfortably while the others took points. I'm not convinced by Blackburn - part of me thinks Millwall have choked off the back of the possibility of automatics getting very real. But West Brom beating Hull 3-0... absolutely not a prayer this team beats Hull 3-0. Absolutely no chance. West Brom have made little sense to me all season. Performance data has never been that bad. Lots of late goals conceded. I think what is true of them is what people think is true of Leicester. They're the ones after that I actually think probably escape this first.
  6. Was saying it about our form being reliant on James way before the injury. The form when he was actually out - scary stuff. Would be comfortably 23rd, and bottom in most normal seasons. Just a ludicrously bad side. And worryingly a manager change really hasn't done a lot.
  7. It is genuinely weird. Two clubs there are decent examples as well - could you ever imagine a single fan of theirs putting themselves down the way LCFC fans do. Maybe a very fringe minority, but ours seem to be common.
  8. I do get you and I felt this way myself, but think we've just got to keep on going.
  9. 14 games played against teams from 15th down. 3 wins. One of them was at home to Sheffield Wednesday. The other two were Charlton away and West Brom at home - two genuinely fortunate wins. We've been an absolute disgrace in those games.
  10. Patrick Bamford's been a very good signing for Sheffield United by the way. A player a lot, myself included, would've been pretty 'meh' about signing. But you know what, I think he'd have come here and struggled. That's precisely the problem. Nobody flourishes.
  11. I think this team are capable of taking it to the last day at Blackburn, needing a draw to survive, Blackburn already relegated, and losing like 5-0.
  12. On Faes I admit I am going off match ratings somewhat which are a bit of a plague, but Monaco's results and goals conceded have been steady, he seems to be playing in a 3 and doing OK - Ligue 1 is stronger than the Championship as well. I'm just completely out of patience with our players now. I'm fed up of giving benefit of the doubt to have it thrown in our face. There is a constant pattern here and that's what needs addressing.
  13. This club finds whatever way possible to extract the absolute worst out of just about every player, with the exception of Jordan James. It's happened too many times for this to be a coincidence. I'll never really be able to quantify why this is happening, but I know for nearly certain that it is.
  14. He hasn't been good at all. I'm saying it as somebody who wanted him in the team, but I can't just pretend he's been much good. Crap circumstances, granted, but the lack of accountability at the club in general is a problem and we're not in a strong enough position to be alleviating anybody of blame. I could totally see him going elsewhere and doing OK though - as does nearly everybody who leaves us. Even Faes is doing OK.
  15. Liverpool aren't getting enough shit. They are horrendous for that level of outlay. Galatasaray will finish them off this week.
  16. In terms of on pitch this is easily the dreariest PL season I can remember - other than covid.
  17. Guardiola has peaked as a manager I think.
  18. Everything you're saying is true. Of someone like West Brom. We are not the same. We're a unique case - nobody has dropped to that level with this level of operating cost. Sunderland are the nearest thing to it I can remember, but even they weren't on this level.
  19. That's my wish personally. Facts aren't something they do very well with anyway and if we really could weed out all of these people in one go it would be a godsend. We'd even have a fierce rivalry from the off as well - I detest these people far more than I do Forest or Cov.
  20. I find it mad how people will do things like this for money - ex players as well no less, so people who earned a very good living in the game. It's on a par with doing onlyfans.
  21. Exactly how I feel. Just imagine how embarrassing it would be. All to preserve another year that'll be likely as bad, if not even worse than this as well.
  22. Been a massive disappointment. No point pretending otherwise. I'm saying it as someone who was calling for him to start.
  23. He'll have mentally clocked out of this this time next month - happens to every manager. Isn't a coincidence.
  24. I've just seen the reaction to the goal. I thought people were going mad but what the actual **** is he doing? He's an absolute sewer rat. Would be far more important than any three points if he got a serious injury. Preferably one that keeps him out of the world cup.
  25. This team is useless to a point of it being just totally bizarre. Like I don't think anybody who hasn't followed this whole thing play out can really appreciate the insanity of it. I just cannot see how that team stays up after today. You had the monkey off the back the other night, both the win and the clean sheet, under a new manager with a very steady track record at this level - keeping up the smallest budget club in the division last season against the odds. We are presented with an equally favourable home game against a team in relative freefall, who have lost their last four games to nil, two of them absolute thumpings. Mentally they're on the floor. Even the most pessimistic in our fanbase thought today we'd win. We even get the early lead. It's all going to plan. And we end up... absolutely battered? Other than Tottenham, who would be the biggest relegation story of basically any of our lifetimes, I can't see anybody quite like it. This just feels like no matter what, whoever is in charge, we are destined to fall through the trap. The club is totally rotten. The rot is deeper than I think any of us realise.
