  1. Demonstrably was true - whether it was down to him or not, we scored far less goals when he came in for Buonanotte.
  2. All in all a total waste of time. Didn't make any difference for us ultimately despite some flashes. Clearly another bad egg. Not even going to make any money back on our investment if he turns out any good and going to have to suck it up if he doesn't. A name forever associated with the worst Leicester side possibly ever. Some legacy.
  3. I wonder if there's a chance Palace come in. They've been left short.
  4. No, some are happy for him sit on the bench and 'cash in' too!
  5. Haha what the ****
  6. He's a good player - would be a really good signing from us.
  7. Palace's best player gone, their next best on the verge of a move and Glasner still goes to Villa and slaughters them. He's absolutely top drawer, top 5 manager in the league for me.
  8. Out: El Khannouss In: Carranza, Rak-Sakyi
  9. If that deal is true then we would quite literally be better off to have never signed him. This means we're locked into all of the potential downside. Say he flops at Stuttgart we get him back with his tail between his legs. If he does well there, we just get our money back for a post relegation level fee, nominal profit of which we just paid on his wages anyway. It's totally amateurish. I think keeping him here despite his sulking, chancing he has a change of heart trumps this deal. It stinks.
  10. We weren't in a strong position (which is ultimately the fault of those at the top as a general point) but this is a ridiculous deal for us if it's true.
  11. That's just an absolute joke if that's true. What on earth are we doing.
  12. I don't think he was the main offender by any means but there's a hint of the Demarai Gray about him - looks good but doesn't 'really' deliver and while everyone blames the shit around him, he had similar issues in a Genk team that were one of the more dominant sides in their league. He's young enough to get better but it wouldn't surprise me if this plagued him for a while. Again - not saying this was 100% down to him, but when he came in for Buonanotte, we scored quite substantially fewer goals. This is fact.
  13. Obviously sell. We definitely need two midfielders if he goes though.
  14. Can't believe I've hit a point where I'm happy for Liverpool to stop Arsenal but here we are.
  15. 3 games in 4 that'll end 0-0 that I've watched this weekend. Two of them were pretty predictable as well.
  16. Horrific game of football as expected. So many games are either this or shrouded in VAR 'drama' (yawn)
  17. I did expect a Forest drop off but my god that's an absolutely stinking result before Europe has even gotten underway as well.
  18. I don't hate it in the crap position we're in. Loan with option to buy is the right way to go for us - gets us potentially decent players without having to really spend and gives us the power to get them.
  19. These are the marginal losses that are a constant under Rudkin. They add up over time and it's why we are now ultimately in the shit.
  20. Ultimately he's come here, been part of a disgusting team, not the biggest offender but very much a part of it and then kicked off to get out of here. I've no idea why our fans would wish him any good - extremely small-time if we do really. We've had far better than him. He wasn't the biggest offender but I really couldn't give much of a shit about him, kind of relieved this is going through.
  21. That game is basically what I was hoping for with him - no frills but just a solid 7/10 performance.
  22. This song needs to go now. It's every single club in what feels like Europe.
  23. This is a proper red flag for me. I'm not knocking him necessarily as a player, he's clearly good at this level, but it's precisely the sort of deal, Winks like, his ceiling aged 30 is probably upper Championship - we should not be spending good money on that in this position, particularly on a position we're strong in already. We could maybe do with a winger on loan but it should be about 4th, 5th priority for us. Spending a big chunk of money on him would indicate nothing has been learned.
  24. Monga being a freak of nature is going to see Page held to pretty unrealistic expectations. He should be involved but we shouldn't be needing to start him more than about 10 times this season.
