Reid isn't a brilliant player but he's a round peg in a round hole who has always had a bit of a knack for a goal. Think he's an obvious pick for this team really with the general lack of goals elsewhere.

I half expected this tbh. It's not an excuse and it's something our own mismanagement has led to but they looked shattered after that and we hardly changed anyone.

These look awful. Sort of game that makes you think if we got our shit together we could still get in the top six. Not that I think we will.

It's hard to argue with his record really. Always been the impression they're waiting to upgrade on him but he does seem to keep getting the job done for them. I thought he'd possibly get exposed a bit in this league but it hasn't happened. I'm still not quite sure I could imagine him in the Premier League though. They will spend again next year and push. They looked dreadful when they first came up. Dropped Ward & Coady and the rest follows You can see them signing James in the summer which would be infuriating.

Wrexham have seriously got to grips with this league. Can see them pushing to go up next year.

Ashton Gate pre renovation was great, the low roof in the away end made it one of the best atmospheres in England.

I'm surprised how many thought that second half wasn't bad. I'd assume there's some recency bias because of the Sheffield United game which was bizarrely near identical with roles reversed. You don't need to completely surrender all initiative at 3-0 up and not when you've been all over them as well. We have better players than Derby. I thought we risked a very unlikely draw when it should never have been on the cards. Biggest fault was the total lack of attacking threat. This isn't me trying to witch hunt Cifuentes. I'm not expecting some whizz tactician. He did more good than bad today.

If we're seriously talking about good chances created then I'd probably avoid a look at the stats and I thought we deserved to win today. The second half was not good, we played an unnecessarily risky game against a crap side.

With how much I hate this squad a Puel equivalent would be my favourite manager in a long time. Today is genuinely the first time all season I thought Cifuentes has something to offer. He isn't perfect but I could actually get behind some of that today.

Second half was crap but I think if what had come before hadn't happened I'd be quite encouraged. Seeing more of the players I wanted to see in the team, in the team. More of the players I wanted out of the team, out of the team. First half was excellent. I'm never being swung by one game but better signs today. I'd be well behind him if he'd taken todays stance in August.

Just mental that he didn't have him in from the start.
