If he can continue coming on and being impactful, then I'm all for it. But when we need fast starts, and attacking play as opposed to chasing a game, I still don't think he's the answer. Starting Fatawu and Mavididi allows us to at least try and be on the front foot. If I'm an attacking right-back and seeing that I'm up against Ayew to begin with, I'm loving life.

Should have more assists to his tally if the players he's laid balls on for have finished. Today for Ayew, few times for Vardy in the past few games. Hopefully can keep fit and in form for the majority of our games. He's going to be so key against teams around us.

Just watched highlights on Sky. Not a penalty for me. It's more of a collision. Don't see how any of their fans can complain about our goal (Soumare's strength on two of their players) and the Phillips red card. His second yellow is a bookable offence all day long. Ayew and Vardy link up for the goal is lovely. Great composure from both of them, especially considering how late it was and that Ayew had missed shortly before. And credit to Soumare for the persistence in running back to win the ball and creating it into an attacking opportunity all by himself. Disappointing to concede how we did, but Davis has taken that perfectly. Think Fatawu could have carried on running back but Pereira should be tracking that run better too and was out of position for the header.
