England needed that over -
That's a good point

Weirdly thought about this earlier today too. Wonder if he really just cannot be arsed and is just going through the motions. Just need someone to turn the off switch on his robot political life.

How is 'virtue signally' to point out that her opinions are just racist without being so blatant about it? It's not that I want her to be a racist old dear. It's the fact she most likely goes back home to her family (one of which used to be 'woke', apparently, that she turned ) and moans about the browns/Asians/ethnics/Muslims and wants them out the country but will happily use their services when they cook good food for her. She's basically stopped short of saying she wants her community and street to be fully English and fully white. If you can't see that from what she is saying, because she isn't cleverly articulate enough about it, then I'm sorry.

What was the reason for bowling Jacks?! -
That's the standard old trope isn't it - they cook great food but I can't stand them. What about the good ones? 'Well they're alright, but it's the bad ones that need to go!' As if anyone anywhere can differentiate what a good and bad Muslim is based on how they view them on the street. Absolute plebs. Can you fvcking blame them when that kind of woman is what they have to put up with? It's a vicious circle that British folk put unto those ethnic minorities. 'YOU'RE NOT WELCOME HERE, GO BACK TO YOUR OWN COUNTRY, WE DON'T WANT YOU HERE!' When you see the rhetoric in the media purveyed by standard normal members of the public, what chance to they have to 'integrate' or 'assimilate'. Would you be comfortable 'assimilating' in a foreign country if some (racist) residents of that country hated the colour of your skin (but conveniently only like your food)? You wouldn't feel very comfortable, would you? And then you expect them to just walk into a community with a big smile on their face as if they'd lived there all their lives. They're perceived not to integrate well because they're not made to feel very welcome...

And this retort, for me...

Guessing that was influenced after what happened with Ocon a few weeks ago.

I know Afghanistan aren't minnows any more but I didn't expect them to obliterate NZ like that. -
Are we?

Which will take time. And it could conceivably start with this election. After all a movement like that has to start somewhere for voters, then it's up to the party to maintain their position and grow over time.

Could be more important than ever to tactically vote this time round... https://tactical.vote/

'we mustn't bring colour into it' says Farage who was the first one to bring up black and ethnic minorities... It's not simple but Denye (?) was on the right track - bring back the services and resources for younger generations. Build up policing resources that the Tories cut for years...

Yeah he's great at deflecting too. I've not heard much of what Reform can/will do or how they will do things, more what Labour and Tories have/haven't done.
-
Yep, staggering they have pretty much quadrupled down since Rishi brought it up.

Missed the start of the debate. What happened?

Canada on course for a win over Ireland. -
Deserves the legend status for his commitment and loyalty in the past 10 years. And scorer of some iconic and historic goals. That one against Sevilla ranks the highest for me. And of course brilliant assists along the way!

Nothing really surprising. Interesting nothing about Ndidi though, who's contract also expires this summer...
