Netherlands vs Turkey - Saturday 6th July, 8pm
Facecloth replied to StanSP's topic in General Football and Sport
Lee Dixon "I'd give the goal to Gakpo." He doesn't even touch the ball. -
Maybe its because you don't have one
-
So you bang on about there being a note, so you're told there's always a note, it's an in joke and the tories made it public that time for the first time ever in an attempt to stick the knife in Labour. You then say well if politicians kept their gobs shut and did the job there'd be nothing to bang on about, so you're told it was a Tory that didn't keep his gob shut, and you go back to banging on about the note. I don't get it.

There's always a note. Feel like this is going round in circles.

England v Switzerland - Saturday 6 July

Lovely turn by Mainoo in midfield. Passes to Trippier, attack over -
Well that was a Tory that didn't keep his gob shut, so you can stop complaining about Labour and the note now can't you.

So we still have the same issue with Trippier having no left foot and cutting back inside all the time. Southgate is clueless isn't he. -

But weren't you voting Reform? Have I got confused here?
-
This has baffled me too. I don't want to create a pile on or mass arguments, but @Benguin could you possibly explain how your Christian beliefs and morality are aligned with Reforms policies and the beliefs of their candidates?
-
Did she not just join the other candidates on the left of the stage?
-
Forgot about Ben Bradley. Delighted to see him lose Mansfield.

Again in Blyth, lower turnout, increased Labour vote, Reform taking votes from Tories not Labour.
-
Labour increased their votes and vote share in Sunderland with a lower turnout/overall number of voters. Reform have clearly taken votes from the Tories there and not Labour.
-
Vote Green, Lib Dem, an independent but not these charlatans.
-
Oh I'm not saying you had, I just think anyone who use that excuse for voting them is crazy.
-
Shite scheduling by Wimbledon. British number 1 playing British number 2, and they schedule Murrays doubles match now.

Still to switch to a limited company with no leader election mechanism that could just slot anyone into the role, currently led by the man most responsible for the most horrific piece of self harm a country has ever inflicted on itself. I mean by all means be disenfranchised with the main two parties but it's still no excuse to vote reform
-
Hmm see it's one of those isn't it, like when UKIP got about 4m votes, more than the LibDems and got zero seats whilst the LibDems got 20 odd. I don't see Reform having enough across the country to take many seats and in all honesty I think it's probably just making Labour more likely to win a few marginals. Because the are taking votes of both main parties but it won't be enough to translate to actual seats. Just the way our voting system works.

You got the tweet or the journalists name?

Ken Clarke too. The demise of the tory party started when Johnson removed all these very talented politicians because of Brexit. I don't agree with them on most things, but I respect them all for the way they conduct themselves.

Can't see Draper beating Zverev (potentially) after two 5 setters. Norrie is a machine so his fitness doesn't worry me, but as you say he's inconsistent. But so is Zverev, so could be long match strewn with errors.

When I watch Raducanu I often feel like she doesn't really need much coaching in term of game plans etc. I think she's naturally gifted and has a great ability to quickly work out her opponents game. She's had her injury issues and prior to that I think she might have had a little too much influence. She just needs to stay fit and play.
