Thanks for that. Funny enough, I saw this guy's video when I was trying to figure it out lol. I am a math guy so it made sense but at the same time, I prefer to not over complicate and use simple instructions. Interestingly the box the foam cannon came in literally says to use 100ml soap and 900ml water! Seems a bit too runny for me so going to try to stick to the 1 to 5 ratio and see how that goes. Work on my "motion in the ocean" lol.

Cheers. I bought an mjjc cannon pro version 2 which is a decent one from what I've read. I have heard of Bilt so will keep that as a potential future purchase option. For now I bought the standard stuff from my local auto/home store but you can get it on amazon too. https://www.amazon.ca/Chemical-Guys-CWS_110-Honeydew-Cleanser/dp/B009OTW646 I bought a small bottle as I didn't want to get stuck with a lot of product (if it sucks). Looks like I just got to play around with the ratios. My pressure washer is 1450PSI with about 1.24 GPM flow rate. Decent enough for the job but I would love to upgrade as the hose is a bit shorter and over time it has had some issues. I probably need to do a maintenance check on it.

@Izzy do you use a foam cannon to wash your cars? If so, what ration of dilution do you use for water to snow foaming soap? i know it may differ from brand of soap but generically speaking, thoughts? I will watch additional youtube videos but seeing some say 1 part soap to 5 part water. Or 1 to 15 or 1 to 20. It's all over the map lol. Got my foam cannon today so hooked it up to the cannon and pressure washer trying to understand how it all works. Struggled with getting it to foam properly but equally got it. Think I need some practice lol.

House prices in the Greater Toronto area are insane. There's a house for sale on my street that is the exact same as mine and listed for $700k Canadian (~£400k) over what I paid for mine in 2018! Absolutely mental! If I sold my house, likely would need to move somewhere cheaper/further away to get the same size house or bigger. I could sell my house, move to england and buy a place cash on the 2018 vs 2024 price alone!

100%. I like the heat but when it's that hot you need AC We have AC in our house (most houses here do) but it doesn't really work upstairs so it gets bloody hot. I have a fan in my room but it just moves hot air. Most of the time I will just go to the mainfloor to sleep in the hot summer heat. We keep our house at 24 which isn't cold but comfortable. A lot of people I know keep it at 22 or lower which is freezing IMO. It is currently 29 feels like 34 here. Next week we are looking at some days of 34 feels like 42. The extremes in Canada are mental!

I can see why. I watch a few others as well just to ensure bias is removed but everyone has theirs!

Picked up our family Subaru Ascent just shy 2 weeks ago and love it. Getting used to a bigger vehicle than my honda crv but so far so good. Have since purchased a foam cannon, various microfiber towels, buckets, different detailing prewash/shampoo/tire cleaners etc. Looking forward to going down izzy's route of keeping cars looking good (as a hobby). And yes, my sons city top is reflecting in the passenger door

It is 2024 so you never know how one might identify! Not that it matters.

Overall a decent player for us with some important goals. He had potential but I feel he never quite went over the hump with it. Want to wish him well in his future wherever he lands.

All jokes aside, it's done so can only hope (more so pray) that vesty is a changed man and continues to do well. Positivity is tough sometimes

You mean Steve Bruce?

My local gurdwara is looking for a defender and as I understand put in a bid for him. Looks like our offer of free langar food wasn't the selling point. Orrrrrrr could this be a genius smoke screen. Maresca and chelsea to table his £100 million buyout?
