Thankfully not in the UK but this hits deep for me as I am of mixed race and a visible minority. My brother is in England and I am worried about him, my neice and nephew who are visible minorities as well. My brother is incredibly strong but that means nothing when 100+ racist nutters can pull you out of a car and stomp on you. What exactly is the government doing to help minorities feel safe? The threat of jail isn't going to stop people so unless you get more boots on the ground nothing will change. Bunch of thick cvnts!

The 100m final is going to be insane. Slowest qualifying time was 9.93. 5 sprinters were under 9.87. Could we see an olympic record maybe? Seems a stretch but if 9.81 and 9.80 were the fastest times surely they will be going for it.

That was ****ing brilliant! So happy for Saint Lucia such wonderful people. Went in March and had a blast. Can't wait to go back! You know I was kind of expecting them to go out. We barely made it through our games so didn't seem like it was going to be a golden year. I did think we were going to make the semis but given everything that has gone on this was a great run and proud of them. Now to sort out the tw@t coaches! Summer McIntosh is freaking amazing machine! That's her 4th of the games as she got a silver too. What a freaking champ so proud of her!

I've had interviews where I thought that I embarrassed myself, my family, my future kids, my town, city, province, the worms in the garden etc and got an offer. I also have had ones where I destroyed them and got denied. I've stopped caring and just be myself hoping for the best. And no, no sexual situations arise instigated by myself or others Nerves are always there. I eat a banana before each interview though and it seems to calm me. Perhaps it's my way of "taking one" before the actual interview. I have read that they help you focus but never really got scientific proof on it. Heck, the placebo effect works. Best of luck!

It's just somewhere hot to get to, cheaper and family is around. Beats the -10 canadian winter for a week. Flying to a Caribbean island during any school break is top $ over here as I'm sure it is over there. I have never been to Florida but my wife is always on my case as she used to go woth her family when she was younger. I said F-NO to that commute. My daughter has stomach issues when in a car for too long so it won't work. We did get a new suv recently which seems to have helped though and did 2.5 hour drive in which she was fine. Promising for future vehicle long distance trips

It's a cheap vacation to drive down instead of flying 5 people down. They go around to west palm and Miami. The whole area in between really.

No, just loves the heat and hates canadian winters. He drives down there during our winters for a week. My wife has family down there as well that he will visit. Island people like the heat even when they move here, they seek it out when they can!
