How is Martin Van Jaarsveldt allowed to back out of his deal with LCCC using his poor form as an excuse and then play all winter in South Africa and then sign a T20 contract with Glamorgan for 2012 (although why he would want to go there is beyond me) I really dont understand what has gone on with him. -

Give the guy a chance before you right him off! He has only played 1 game for us and looked a yard quicker than our other bowlers yet already you predict he will go off the boil, yes conditions as the season progresses will be less favourable for him but he looks well worth a contract and looks a useful addition to a small inexperienced squad. -

A very sensible post, spot on with the conditions favouring the bowlers, dull overcast conditions throughout , a little seam movement off the pitch combined with some good fast bowling from Joseph and swing bowling from Hoggard made batting tough for Glamorgan, as for the Leicestershire batting its arguably weaker than last season so no surprise with the low scores. LCCC need to get Will Jefferson back as he can score a 1000 runs a season and sign Joseph up asap. I do wonder where the runs will come from this season, but lets enjoy a winning start. -
Watched the first 2 episodes of WhIte Heat at the weekend, enjoyed it, maybe another Our friends in the North on the cards.

Watched Jack and Jill at the weekend typical Adam Sandler film but why oh why did Al Pacino and Jonny Depp agree to be in this film?

Nothing absolutely starving just popped into work for half hour and got stuck here with no food and no money! Any 1 got any spare food around the Aylestone rd area?

Finally got round to watching the new Planet of the Apes film, enjoyed it but can anyone explain where all the escaping apes came from? There were a few from the sanctuary and some from the zoo but there was an overhead shot and there must of been 458 apes running around. Spoilt the whole film for me

I understand what your saying the batting was dire in the 4 day format last season but at the end of the day LCCC did win a trophy last season and since 1991 when Durham entered the county game LCCC have 5 trophies to their name which is more than Notts and Derby can boast of, lets just hope for a couple of solid middle order batters are signed then we may be ok. -
I wish I could get off the road but were the scum of the pavements as well! I am a motorist who cycles to work most days (when its not pissing down) yes a fair weather cyclist! so I pay my road tax and am entitled to use the roads, but I agree there are plenty of dodgy cyclists around who give the rest a bad name. I cycle approx 5 miles although mostly off road and everyday encounter idiot drivers who have actually swerved into me and have been cut up on numerous occasions, everyone is far too impatient these days. So spare a thought for cyclists its not easy.

Watched Jools Holland last night and I am suprised to say I thought Adele was outstanding, a great voice and song.

Ok see if this I can do better with this one. Scientists have found that many women develop 'Dysons Disease' after a year of marriage. They make a countinuous fooking whining noise but dont suck anymore.

You are right about the ending it was a bit of a weak finish to an otherwise enjoyable game, but a return to form for Rockstar games after the disappointment of the last GTA. Lasting memory for me was trying to melee a Grizzly and chasing it on foot for 5 mins, it was the only time in the game a grizzly actually ran away from me! Despite the ending it was a good game and well worth the money, the single player game being a large one, I did not try the multi-player as I am not keen on 3rd person combat. Other lazy game producers with their 4hr completion single player campaigns should take a look at the lengthy Red Dead single player game and the value for money it provides.

Have these already been on here? I dunno so I will post em anyways. The news report that garry Glitter has slept with an 85yr old has been confirmed as false, it was infact an Haiti five yr old. I went upto a bird in a bar the other night and thinking I was dead smooth said "Is that a ladder in your stocking or is it a stairway to heaven?" She immeadiately replied " Yeah it is a stairway to heaven, but there's already a **** up there, so fook off" Went to a charity disco last week in aid of women born without legs, dancefloor was crawling with fanny.

Cricket ,unfortunalely in the last ten years has become a case of the haves and the have nots, and Leicestershire are a have not. It is difficult for Leics to compete with the larger clubs. The ECB are now it seems looking after about 10 counties all of which either hold 1 day internationals or test matches, Yorks, Lancs, Surrey, Notts, Warks, Glam, Hants, Durham, Gloucs, and of course Lords are the chosen few, the revenue an England game can create for these counties is enourmous. Back in the 90's when Leics were successful it was more of an even playing field, now it is a struggle for the lesser counties to compete, wages have to go on players so there is not much left in the kitty for ground improvements. Why cricket does not have a transfer system is beyond me as this would provide additional revenue for lesser clubs and a reward for bringing through young players, as at the moment a county can bring through a youngster from say for example u11 age group right through to first team then lose him to a bigger county for nothing because a bigger county have the funds to pay far higher wages, example Stuart Broad. If the situation continues as it is Leics will always struggle on and off the field. -
It is amazing although when this guy came out I half expected Davina to turn up cos it reminded me of a Big Brother eviction.

Valhalla Rising one of the worst films I have ever seen, slow and dull the lead character never speaks in the whole film! Avoid.

Which was is she? I am guessing she is the one who did the numbers alongside the blonde. Tall, slim and what looks like a good pair of t**s
