  1. Unless they got a big bulk order in for them from a more legit source, my bet is it's one of them ones from Temu. If you order it now, it may make it here for the Arsenal game
  2. What was the complaint?
  3. Good to see the Facebook groups represented on this board finally with their utter nonsense. Should we all be grateful too as we won the prem 9 years ago too and not complain about anything ever again?
  4. It's possible they could do it. If they did, hats off to them. It's a tough league and Chris Wood right now is fantastic. Will be tough to beat this Liverpool team over 38 games though.
  5. If you could edit your post to remove the quote with the link in I would be grateful, but if you can't don't sweat it. My own fault for not looking before I leap I suppose.
  6. Do it again but request a new link from them directly mate. I am not 10000% sure the link I put isn't specific to me, so to avoid risk of both our votes being discounted, email [email protected] . She may also be able to confirm your membership number at the same time.
  7. I think your membership number is on the certificate they post out. I lost mine ages ago. EDIT: I was wrong on my statement about this. My link has since expired after I have voted. It is done by allocating a cookie to your browser though, so very simple to either open the link in a new browser, at which point you get a fresh voting page, or delete the cookie by clearing your browser cache. Easily manipulated, but at least there is an extra step needed to do so.
  8. "Alan has voted 5 times, which I find interesting?"
  9. I posted the link to the survey here believing you could vote multiple times and it was a generic link. I was wrong on this. Edited to correct this.
  10. I joined online so wasn't sure of numbers in the room, but my takeaway points are: The push last year nearly doubled the size of the trust from ~300 to over 600. A lot are in the 21+ region. The drive to get more people signed up, with the hope of getting thousands of members, seemed to be non existent. At one point talking about how they need a TikTok account to draw in under 21s. If that doesn't show how out of touch they are I don't know what will. No discussion of using the £46k in the bank to do any sort of promotion on socials or anywhere else as a recruitment drive for the trust, but they want to increase membership. There were times where any sort of feedback around the trust was taken almost personally by the board member addressing the question. Asked why the trust still wants to sit on the FAB despite not liking the parameters set by the club the answer was "if we leave, we risk alienating the club and we wont get anything from them. We are not a protest group." Later on they spoke about how they contact the club for responses and hear nothing, so it's a moot point as naff all already comes back to the trust in the first place. The new treasurer seems pretty switched on. Like the above poster said, I couldn't give 2 tosses about stamps, but we had to be told how we buy them to post newsletters. Could easily save money on postage by not sending pointless certificates out to new members. On the presentation from the chair, one of the challenges listed was "Foxes Trust Reform" and then they glossed over it. This was because a few people had already ruffled their feathers around the FAB stuff and they didn't want to hear anything more against them. The website may be getting updated and a new members area made. It would need major overhaul and as it stands the members areas would be devoid of any information apart from name, contact details and member number. There isn't anything they could add to a resource hub or anything like that, so it feels as useful as a chocolate teapot. When it came to the motion, they were very dismissive, Simon held his own and was very good at responding to questions. I will be voting for it, but I do believe the finer details need adding to it. The board asked the audience questions of "what would you do?" and "say if I was on a multi year project and didn't come up with results in a year, are you voting me out?" to which the answer is no, but they span it to make it seem like people will call a confidence vote at a whim throughout the year, which is impossible as there have been no SGM's or EGM's this year and the board avoid them where they can claiming "resource issues." A lot of heart strings were being pulled saying they are volunteers who are "only human" and have to take time away some time (Lynn mentioning her recent bereavement and Matt saying he had issues in the past year that made him unable to perform to what he believes is an adequate level). In Matts case he was aware of this and offered his resignation, but it was declined and he did little for that period. He said "would you be voting me out as I couldn't perform?" No response was allowed and the meeting wrapped. But as someone wrote in the chat Matt did everything correct there and the Board decided to leave someone on the board they knew couldn't perform and didn't offer a temporary replacement, say who took over his duties or even tell the members. The whole time through this debate, Alan sat doing his best impression of the Churchill dog. He knows the way the votes are going, so much so he told us the votes were interesting on email, and then they changed the amount needed to pass from 67% to 75% and all proxy votes discarded. So now they have a rough poll and it feels the goalposts have been shifted hoping the older parts of the fan base see the reformists as some sort of trouble makers and it shuts Simon and his proposition down. It would take 10 of our switched on fans to make an officially recognised fan trust of twice the size in 6 months for sure. The whole thing is lame duck until dead wood is cleared. It's all jobs for the boys, possible perks for staying on the club sides (I can't prove that) and annual meetings where naff all is agreed apart from the notes from last year and the price of stamps.
  11. https://www.lcfc.com/pages/en/media-article/a-message-from-the-birch "After being taken ill at the weekend, LCFC Ambassador Alan Birchenall will miss the Club’s home matches this week. Birch was admitted to hospital on Sunday, but he would like to let well-wishers know that he is doing well and hopes to be back in circulation soon. Everyone at LCFC sends their love and best wishes to Birch during his recovery."
  12. That Arsenal kit is god awful.
  13. I think Vardy's 200th will come in the FA Cup if anywhere now. Hoping we can run this into Palace for a result of some kind. Our league form needs a boot up the arse.
  14. It feels so much like you are dealing with kids who have a made a den and don't want to have anyone else play with them. "We are playing board members today and you can't sit with us." God forbid the people running the trust and comms are professional. That genius response from Digby, the Foxes Trust emails not going to a load of people and the link in there signature to the website being wrong, and I got an invite the Teams for the AGM from a sender named "Auntie Sarah." I'm nit picking, but a bit more professionalism wouldn't go amiss. Someone said it last year that they didn't like that all the pages on the website of the board members were them posing with trophy's and not much of any other substance, and I still agree with this 100%. It's a game of make believe and play time masquerading as a fan trust.
  15. Turkey's usually don't vote for Christmas. There needs to be something in place to make it simpler to remove board members apart from CoC breaches. Right now it just feels like the trust is a bunch of folks playing pretend and having meetings and making minutes for fun, with some people on the board taking it a lot more serious than others for sure. Hoping everything is fair and transparent.
  16. "Host City Representitive" and winners of the MLS Supporters Shield. Is DAZN the only TV deal?
  17. Another weekend where we avoid sitting in the drop zone. Everton will more than likely lose their game in hand and having another game to play in back end of December won't help them for sure. Newcastle will be a tough game for sure.
  18. I don't recall there being a meeting or vote of the members to see who their preferred candidate for the FAB was. First anyone knew about someone being chosen was the LCFC post. Felt very Jobs for The Boys
  19. Because there isn't much promotion of the trust to a younger audience would be my guess. I didn't know it existed until I came to FT. If you Google "Leicster City Supporter Group" you get Foxestalk before you get Foxes Trust. If you do find Foxes Trust on FoxesTalk, the link in the Foxes Trust signature isn't correct either and leads to an error. The fact that I have also joined for over a year and all I have is a sporadic newsletter in my inbox and a certificate posted to me doesn't strike me as something the young are looking for. The newsletters also reading like the meeting notes of from Handforth Town Council without Jackie Weaver also doesn't help. I could go on, but there are some great folks on the trust board and I hope that these appointments and Lynn staying onboard will help start the trust getting a boost it needs.
  20. Happens a bit on the tube still.
  21. I thought this. 8:15pm seems too late. I think even Monday Night Football is 8pm kick off. A game wrapping gone 10pm with public transport not going to running that late means some folks have no choice but to go early. Doesn't help however we can't sell the ground out now as the tickets are pricing folks out. It's that or someone has blocks of seats in B1 and 3 they aren't giving out. The £64-72 price for an adult sure as shit ain't helping there.
  22. Biden using the powers he has and now knows the Supreme can't come after him without reverting their previous judgement of how far presidential powers stretch. Trump's list of pardon's from last term has some interesting characters. This next term will have more interesting wrongs as it is clear that corruption will be a lot more rife.
