The Villa v Leicester league cup semi final a few years ago, my mate and I was catching the train from Rugby to Birmingham I was speaking with the ticket guy ( Man City fan) who I knew , and he was asking my thoughts about the game , before I could really tell him my mate shouted me come on Dave the trains leaving in a few minutes, so I legged it to the platform and got on the train , after a while I said to my mate this train is taking ages , and we hadn’t got to Coventry yet , that’s when it dawned on me my mate had got us on the wrong train and it was actually heading to Euston The only saving grace is we got the 2.00 train which was early , so when we got to Euston, we told the ticket people the guy at rugby station had put us on the wrong train, luckily they believed us a gave us a free ticket back to Birmingham Got to the Villa ground at 7.20 and you just know it’s not your day when they beat us undeservedly A day to forget

This is easily the worst Leicester team in my lifetime and I’m 53

Like I said in my opinion , the 3-1 defeat last season didn’t even feel like a Derby , it’s definitely not on another level For most it’s location, if you’re from South Leics , Coventry is the main one Growing up Forest was the main one by a country mile , I don’t see that’s the case now

There seems to be more of a bite to playing these than Forest these days , that’s just my opinion
