For the first time in my Leicester City supporting life (I'm 43) I wouldn't even mind if we lose. That's how disconnected I feel. Still watch every game with the resultant low mood, mind.

Oh, I dunno. I get the impression that plenty on here delight in sneering at players.

I am firmly in the “I hope a run of games gives him the confidence to unlock the potential he showed before joining us” camp. The “shit, end of” camp seem to misunderstand human nature a little. The guy is probably utterly bereft of confidence. He was in the ascendancy and joining us was a disaster for both parties. He’s been maligned and jeered. He’s been used sporadically and has always been the fall back. He may well fail to make the grade, but we still don’t know what he’s truly capable of if he’s believed in, starts every game, and if the goals start to come. You’ve got to love an arc of redemption. I really hope he gets to shove two fingers up at everyone who’s written him off. We’ll see. *Cue all the “he played loads in the Championship” posts
